Make sure that you can call a person from jail and covertly tell them where the bail money is. You're better off having a person you trust know where it is beforehand. Making collect calls and speaking in vague code and terms and having people scrambling around trying to find your stash while you're in jail is sort of annoying. Plus, if you can bail out before your arraignment that's probably good depending on what you were locked up for, because a judge can raise or lower your bail. If you think your bail will be high and you have a low book-in bond/bail GTFO out ASAP.
