I've tried countless times to login, but keep getting the same message. I just logged in last week successfully. I'm a new user, but I know I'm using the right username and password. Please help...
The url I am using is: http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/index.php/silkroad/home
Also, when I do put in bitcoins, if I'm unable to login, is there a method / way that I'll still be able to get them back?
Thanks,
My login name is the same as my forum name... oldskooliquid

Try this, not being funny:
1. Type your username and password into a text file.
2. Go to SR's login page. Refresh it.
3. Copy paste your username and password in the proper places.
4. Type the capcha quickly and accurately.
Try this more than once.
Sometimes people get frustrated because the capcha expires frequently behind the scenes, and by the time you've typed in everything properly, you're actually too late.

I tried your tip Pine, about 10 more times. Also reconnected to a different quicker route thru the Tor network, but still no luck.
I know what ya mean about the CAPTCHA expiring quickly, I did notice that last weekend as well, it would take me 1-3 times to get in. This time, I just seem totally locked out. I can type pretty fast, I think something is just messed up.
Thanks for the reply tho,

Ok, two thoughts. Make sure you're using the latest Tor Browser Bundle. Then if that's true:
Have you tried using a public bridge? Maybe your ISP is being stupid.
Go to https://bridges.torproject.org.
Copy some of those bridges, they are structured like:
128.213.48.13:8080 // this is an example, it is not a bridge.
Copy those.
Then open Vidalia and go into Settings -> Tick "My ISP blocks connections to the Tor network". Add the bridges one at a time.
Then try again.
If all that fails, then possibly your account was deleted or locked for some reason, and you do indeed need to talk to staff.

Thanks again Pine. I tried the bridging, and I'm using the latest version .2.2.39-1, but still getting Login failed message. This may be a stupid question, but am I supposed to email someone to get this fixed, or will they eventually read my forum message and get in contact with me?

Well I created a new account under oldskooliquid1 so I could message them. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.
