any exchange places suggested would be good coz i dunno where to start off n get a good rate of exchange im in uk by the way

Exchanges are a bad idea unless you have a way to send CIM or cash deposit to them. This is invariably expensive and problematic to anonymize. Use bitcoin-otc, localbitcoin and trade bitcoin instead. If you must use exchanges, use the ones which are outside North America, UK, Australia etc.
