Title: is it safe for me to pull up my regular internet while on tor?

i know i'm dumb when it comes to tech stuff, just nn to know.  i never have my web up while on tor, but if its ok it would save me so much damn time....

Yup mostly it is. But there is a human error danger. e.g. if you are used to login at a normal webmail a/c over Tor, and then you are on your normal firefox browser you might make a mistake, it's not as if the TBB and a firefox browser look that dissimilar when you're in a hurry.

What if you're using one computer for Tor and another computer or mobile device just to browse the web and do your normal thing?
