Title: hushmail disabled for tos violation
Post by: celt123 on July 19, 2012, 02:17 am
anyone else having a problem accessing hushmail?

there's a large thread on it on topix, numerous hushmail accounts have been disabled with the tos violation message appearing.

i only ever used it twice and its also been blocked, my email has never been on a public forum ever so im wondering how they can make these determinations

I have always been told to avoid hushmail because they cooperate with LE. Perhaps its in your best interest if you cant use it :P

This is 2012 right? Why on earth is anybody still using Hushmail? Every message sent using that service is a record in the FBI's database for fuck's sake! It would be more secure to use freaking Hotmail!

If you are guilty or concerned, get over to my thread in the sig ->

In fact, if you've ever used a web based 'secure email' service go to my thread. If mean, if a 3rd party, any 3rd party has your private key, then you're just fucked.

I can't literally force you to do this, but it is not really an option. Either you use PGP and similar strong cryptography or you wait to get arrested. It's just a matter of time.
