Title: the thread with no strictly defined topic
Post by: kmfkewm on April 27, 2012, 09:50 am
First I would like to apologize for making a poll asking about if threads should be censored here or not and taking jabs at moderators. It was clearly uncalled for and immature of me. This is your forum and you are free to run it however you like. In the spirit of keeping mods happy, I have decided to make a thread with no strictly defined topic. Nothing in this thread is off topic because the topic is not strictly defined. Since the thread "how young would you go" was locked because it went off topic (and not because a moderator found the topic to be personally offensive), I have decided to start this thread with the pseudo-topic of how young would you go, and I imagine it shouldn't be locked since no matter where it goes from here it will fall under the topic of not having a strictly defined topic.

Russian dolls, the wooden doll with the series of miniature versions of itself inside it...

Is actually a Japanese invention. That is, they did it for ages, and then recently the Russians copied them. Now they are all 'Russian Dolls' and people think the Japanese are rip-off artists. All lies!

Also;

This is a fact:

1/3 = 0.333...
3 * 1/3 = 3 * 0.333...
1 = 0.999...

But you may be experiencing difficulty in believing it.

This is a thread with an Off-Subject in Off-Topic.

In a forum that is Off-Clearnet.

I can dig it!

I love seeing this because I can always bust out this:
if x = 0.99999... then 10x = 9.99999....
10x - x = 9x = 9.99999... - 0.99999 = 9
9x = 9
x = 1 therefore 0.99999... = 1

As much as I'm totally in love with Pine and wanna Impress her with my virtue mathematica...

All I can think of right now is Prof. Frink silencing a group of scientists with "PIE IS EXACTLY THREE!"
