Guys im getting paranoid, I live in an apartment so there are a bunch of mailboxes. My mom told me she saw a cop trying to open one, she doesn't know which though. I got 2c-i a couple of days ago and i ordered lsd and shrooms which are on there way. Do you think their on to me? what should i do? How can make sure nothing happens if anything does happen? Im fucking scared.
None of the packages where in my name btw

That sounds really shady, but I would assume they would have to present you with a warrant to open your mailbox, unless the corp/people that own your apartment complex are douchebags and gave them a spare key. It may very well have been them checking mail for some other reason, maybe looking into a missing person or someone who fled on a warrant. It wouldn't make sense for them to look for your mailbox, especially if they're unsure when the package is coming. You would probably have been flagged by the post office first and foremost, and most likely presented with a search warrant of your premises second.
Definitely keep an eye out though. You can never be too careful.

Why wouldn't you use your name??? Don't you think it would be kind of suspicious to the postal workers and postal inspectors if a package was sent to someone who doesn't live there?

lots of cops live at apts, you dont think it was just a cop checking his mail after getting off duty or something?
i doubt it has anything to do with you ordering some drugs...

This. Your mail gets intercepted at the post office or sorting office, not your mailbox unless your local postal inspectors are astonishingly inept and did some manner of screw-up. So you probably don't need to worry.

Might be a criminal impersonator.

I've wondered about this, specifically pertaining to large apartment complexes (like I assume the OP is referring to). I know some people get mail addressed to a handful of different people, all of which used to live in their particular apartment and never gave a forwarding address. At a glance, it seems pretty safe to address your packages to one of them. Am I wrong?
The turnover in some complexes is pretty high, so names come and go constantly, and many linger on well past their move-out date. So it seems like a pretty good place to be receiving things, to me.

I've thought about it and came to the same conclusion. You could even use the name on some junk mail you've received for another person at your apartment. However, it would really suck if said person started getting their mail forwarded to another address...
Also, the PO employee is unlikely to know who lives in every individual apartment in a whole complex at any given time.
Also also, people sometimes allow a friend to use their address to get things shipped, if the friend doesn't have a mailbox or whatever. I'm sure the PO delivers countless legal packages in this situation without a second thought.
Therefore I don't think the "Use your real name!" argument necessarily holds up in all circumstances. Fake names seem at least equally safe to using your real name in many (most?) situations.

Isn't 2ci legal in most states? I doubt you have anything to worry about.
