KIDDING. Wouldnt trade this mutt for all the coin in the world.
A little drunk and pooch is snoring next to me as I browse forums. Just had a thought wondering what types of pet people SR members are?
Dog people? Cat people ? Then again, I could see some far out pet owners around these parts.....tarantulas, horny toads, tapirs, gila monsters?!
Or is SR mostly just weirdo loners in dark basements smoking the drugs to get the stoned?

I'm a cat person, I wouldn't trade my cats for a million bitcoins. I like dogs too I just don't want one at the moment.

CATS! literally... they are humans that cant speak english and have an attitude haha. they take care of themselves. i feel like i understand and relate to em alot more too. they are always down to chill

Have two dogs. One maltest, one yorky. They're pretty boring, just lay around and do nothing all day, but the maltese is really sweet so I don't mind them. I'd rather have a bigger dog like a shep, dobreman, or a husky, but little dogs are nice sometimes too.

kinda fucked up point, but honestly, my pitty would maul the shit outta in hand-to-paw combat.
luckily he prefers kibbles and cheese to mammal blood.

I have a 5 year old pitbull and a one and half year old cat. They play so rough together and they nibble and play bite on eat other. Its so cute they love each other lol.
People that fear pitbulls told me my dog will eat my cat one day. Well its been a year and a half and they sleep together.

Dogs all the way. you cant teach a cat to pick mushrooms. i know ive tried. dogs figure it out hella quick. my puppy that i took picking with me when he was 12wks was findings azes for me in days. where he got his name;)

If it were possible I'd sell one of my toad's. I live somewhere in Arizona and catch a few Bufo alvarius every year during irrigation to extract 5-MeO-DMT.

Eat my pet? Probably not. Eat animals that are normally kept as pets? Yes.
For instance I would never think of touching my pet cat for stew(cats ftw btw), however all the cats in a shelter could be cooked up like rabbits.

Well, my neighborhood has started irrigating for the year so if I can find another one soon $50 should be enough depending on shipping costs. :)

But, seriously, I love dogs.
I have a small 2yo pom and an older rescue mutt (he has Australian Shepard and beagle we think :o)

Maybe I'm a bit paranoid (and I purely started this thread for shits & giggles while beers deep)....
But I would keep it as non-specific as possible with posts on your pets
e.g.:
"i've got a pit bull", "my cats butthole looks weird" (they all do), or "my tarantula loves twinkies"
not:
"my mastiff-chihuaha mutt named sir cranks-a-lot who is 3 years old has a birth mark the shape of brazil on his nut sack"
just sayin, better stealth than sorry ;D

Any animal that can make a human wash,clean feed and change it's litter is a lazy waste of fur at least a dog will bark when someone knocks or breaks in your house the Cat lays there and wants them to pet it before it will help the thief steal your TV and Computer

I think the best pet in the world would be a fox. This sounds mad but there's an experiment that the russians have been doing every year for over 50 years by breeding the silver fox. After a few years some became used to humans and friendly. When bred with another friendly one you got a good littler. Within 6 generations (6 years) they were begining to change and soon after they changed color,size.. everything. The thing is with a fox, It's got more attitude than a cat and can look after itself, but also as loyal as a dog but not as reliant on you as a dog is. It's win win and how cool would it be have a fox as a side kick :P

I love dogs, but too lazy to have one.
I got a yellow small scorpion in a cemetery at once but it escaped just two days after. I'm thinking to get a new one. Totally sure someone on silkroad would love to buy its poison. Is there some safe way to extract it?
This kind is very common in cerrado (a kind of savanna in the middle of Brazil) and fucking dangerous.

I'm a dog person although I love cats also.
I think the reason why I like dogs so much is that I grew up with my a poodle my mom adored.
Don't have any pets right now.

i trained my cat to use the toilet, no kitty litter for me, he cleans himself, all i have to do is feed him. i def like my dog better.

This guy's on point. I read about this a few years ago, and it had me interested in getting a pet fox somehow.
Never really went through with it though...
If I remember correctly, they're selling the foxes from the breeding experiment to reduce the number they had to care for.

Despite having a very large dog that will hurl himself at the door if someone dares to try to open it, our first line of defense is one of our feral cats. If he hears the slightest noise at a window or the door he will fly into my comp room and hide behind the desk, or under the bed. Great cat. If he is calm, so am I.

I personally have a cat. She loves being shotgunned and LOVES jalapeno beef jerkey. I'd give up drugs before I'd give up the cat.
