It is the most anonymous method of obtaining BTC if you do it right, and the rates are often excellent, superior to the 'easier' methods, which are tantamount to giving up your anonymity.Don't give up your anonymity folks. Once you do, you can *never* get it back again.Pine I agree with you OTC is a far more superior way to acquire Bitcoins, and the rates are often far more generous to the popular methods. In the UK it's becoming increasingly difficult to acquire Bitcoins. Barclay's PingIt is just another method, one that I have never personally vouched for, I don't like the idea of doing a transaction through a Smartphone, and the infringement it may impose upon my anonymity. I believe some people disparage from using OTC, for the fear of getting scammed, but like any system, if used correctly, there's a very minute risk of that happening. Some people prefer to use Barclay's PinIt, it's their choice, and I kept them updated that this option is back on track.Thank-you for reminding us about the importance of our anonymity, that's very true especially when dealing with an anonymous marketplace, I have personally warned quite a few people about my fears of using PingIt, and your right if they choose to go ahead the risks should be known. OTC is great, but for reasons beyond my personal understanding people fear it, but in reality, there is really not much to fear, it's the one safest methods to acquire anonymous Bitcoins :)Hey, so long as you're on the OTP (One True Path) pine is a happy monotreme! :D
