Quote from: wanna-be on July 28, 2012, 02:31 amI followed Guru's instructions and it worked every step of the way until I went to put the usb in and nothing happened. Then I went to search for the .gnupg file to see if I could email the public key to myself and the .gnupg is nowhere to be found. I know I'm kind of a useless member on these boards because all I do is ask questions but I'm a good teacher so if I can get this I'll pay it forward...What do I do?Maybe I'm missing something since I haven't been looking at your case too closely, but since you are backing up PGP public keys to a USB, why don't you run GPG off the USB stick and save yourself all this hassle? I recommend obtaining an Ironkey or/and encrypting the USB.I just don't see why you should use a PGP program on Tails when you're already storing your data elsewhere anyway.Lastly, if you want to keep it all together, you could go the route of setting up a live USB with Liberte instead of Tails. You can save stuff to a container on Liberte.
