I'm a little confused of people posting PGP messages here and asking someone (and it appears anyone) to test it out. Wouldn't the originator of the PGP message have to attach the public key of the reader to the message for them to read it?Anyways, here is my first attempt at a message to Pine......Hello D4TC!Well, that is why you take a pine paracetamol!Ok, so you have used my PGP public key to encrypt a message to me. This proves thatyou understood that you needed my public in order to send me secret communications.50% of the way there comrade! Now you must send me your PGP public key and I will send you a message to decrypt. Thiswill prove that you know you need to send somebody else your public key in order for themto communicate with you secretly etc.Once you have completed the PGP handshake, you know how to encrypt and decrypt, and therefore you become an automatic member of PGP Club! Now it is just practiceto get PGP fluent! So send on the public key! (here, because I can't send > 20 messages per hour via private PM!)Cheers!PineP.S. Like Louis says, those people asking for their PGP to get tested aren't actually posting PGP messages, they are posting their PGP public keys, which are required for an encrypted message to be sent to them.
