DoubleJ, Nope you're the first person to ask here. It's funny that you said "sorry in case someone had asked", people on forums are vicious! I never quite agreed with that, feel free to ask me any question you like here or privately and I promise I won't bite (I cant speak for others, but the people who have posted I this thread are all pretty chill). To answer your question "Express" refers to the a method of shipping offered by the USPS. I am going to sacrifice some accuracy in my answer to make it more clear. Express is generally overnight. If I get a package to the USPS by 3PM and it's destination is in the continental US (that is not alaska or hawaii) the USPS guarantees either overnight or second-day depending on the actual route. Whether their guarantee is overnight or second day depends on your zip code and my zip code. If you message me your zip code on SR I will tell you if it's overnight or second day. There are a few issues which sometimes affect this. For my safety I do not register these packages in the way the USPS intends so there is a small chance that the package will be a day late for that reason. In addition the USPS misses their guarantee once in a while and it ends up being a day late. I have shipped about 120 express packages so far and all but two have arrived on the date expected. Anyhow, Express refers to how USPS handles the package. On my end my rule is that I ship all package (express or not) as quickly as possible. To date every order that I have filled has been shipped in less than 24 hrs (excluding sat evening since there's no advantage to shipping before monday). I do not offer a guarantee on how fast I ship because some things are out of my control but to date every order placed by noon has been shipped same day. I get about 5 orders a day at noon and I haven't missed one yet. Remember, this isn't a guarantee. A lot of people place orders at noon and I keep getting lucky on having the time to get it out but very soon here the lucky streak is going to break and some are going to miss. The earlier you place your order the more likely it is to get filled same day.
