Ok, I just downloaded the encryption software and I have set up my private key and pretty much understand how everything is supposed to work. So I sent a few messages to a few vendors encrypted. I encrypted based on their public key and then sent a copy of that message with my public key pasted underneath the encrypted message so that they can respond to me and encrypt based on the public key I gave them. But here is the problem, I have received 2 responses both of which when I pasted them into my clipboard it gives me an error that has a stop sign shape and says 'CLIPBOARD CONTAINS NO PGP DATA" How is this possible?? At first I thought maybe the first vendor encrypted his message to me based on someone elses public key but now that I get the error on the second message from a totally different vendor I know the problem is on my end. So to test it out I encrypted a message to myself based on my public key. I then pasted the encryption on the clipboard and clicked decrypt and it immediately asked me for my private pass phrase which I provided and POOF it was decrypted!! SO WHY IS IT I STILL CANT DECRYPT ANY MESSAGES THAT COME FROM OTHER PEOPLE??? WHAT COULD I BE DOING WRONG??? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Which PGP program are you using? Also, post your public key and I can encrypt a message to you. See if it works when I do it.

Most of the time that you get an error, "clipboard contains no PGP data" it is because you made an error copying and pasting the message. Ensure to include all 5 dashes in both of the header lines. If you miss even one dash, you will get an error message.
