Title: Need Help with Bitcoins/Cryptography!

only been on SR for about 2 weeks.  I was forwarded a wiki address that showed many different links to purchase bitcoins; localbitcoins.com,  blockchin.info,  bitfog,  etc.  Basically i'm looking for the safest most reliable source.  I'm also pretty clueless about cryptography, and am paranoid about sending something potentially incriminating.  I'm probably overthinking thingsp would be, but i'm still fucking paranoid.  any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
