I have a mac, have installed thunderbird and the add on enigmail, and after much step-by-step reading and you tube video watching, have successfully managed to encrypt an email to someone BUT it's coming as an attachment to them which of course they won't open because of the risks SO how the hell do I use someones public key to encrypt a messageBreak it down, retard-styleCheers :)Screw GPG4Win, it's a Windows piece of shit. Enigmail is great for decrypting incoming email. For sending encrypted mail, I prefer to do it manually. Use GPGTools to encrypt your message on the clipboard, then copy and paste the encrypted message into the Thunderbird compose window. That is hands-down the easiest way to do it.
