Product idea:
We test your weed or hash for the THC value and other stuff.
Who needs it:
If you are a seller, you can proof, that your THC is really high.
If you are a buyer and you want to know what you really get, before you order more from the seller.
History:
We was looking for a simple test for our own weed. We was working together with a student, who was before doing test for the government, and we found two separate tests which are 15% in the range of the official government test. The business test is under 10%.
How is it working:
We need a good clean sample. 1g is more than enough. You just send the sample to our address with a chosen name of your product in it, so we can refer to it. You can use a fake return address.
Test options:
There is a basic test, which gets you the THC value.
Also there is a business test, which gives you more information: THCV, CBG, CBNV, CBND, CBD, CBN and the THC level from 2 tests.
Result of the test:
We will send you the result of the test and you can see the chart from the test. You are allowed to public both. Leftovers of the sample will not be returned.
Prices and Starting time
Prices will be between 25$ basic test and 80$ for the business test and will be ready for public Jan 2012.

how is this fishy? SWCH is a reputable seller, he's not going to mess up his PR by scamming one or more sellers or people over 1g of weed?
I reckon it's a excellent idea, tests like these are normally really expensive or most of the time you need to know certain people..

OP does indeed have a good reputation as a seller so I don't think anything underhanded is going on. What I do think is that this would be a very interesting service to have around here, I wonder how many vendors would take up this offer.

I don't see where all this hate is coming from, honestly I think it's an amazing idea, just think if all the weed dealers on here start sending there stuff to this guy to get there bud tested so everyone has there thc/cbd and such on there page. I personally won't buy bud off of SR, I live on the Arizona/California border so I just get from the dispensaries but If SR had there bud tested with official numbers like this guy's offering it'd sure as hell give me a little bit of incentive.

Many mobile cannabis labs are in Cali. Google that shit. The independent ones that work with the co-ops are the cheapest, ranging from $10-$25 dollars if you submit 5 or more samples the prices are always under $20.
Also, most labs require you to have a medical license in order to submit a sample, some don't even advertise prices. Unfortunately I don't live out West anymore and don't have access to medical testing facilities or I'd offer services much cheaper. My older brother still lives in Cali and is making a killing in the medical mj industry out there, so I know a thing or two about the industry...
FUCK YOU, not my fault your not in the know on the testing facilities. Also, my response wasn't immature, I can test weed or hash by smoking it, always have, always will. I don't need a lab to tell me what's in my weed. The only thing people look for in the clubs besides the actual medical patients is which has the most THC, obviously. I've smoked enough weed in my time I can tell which strain is stronger by smoking it. Hell, if you put 5 strains in front of me I'd bet anything I could put them in order from least to most potent. I'm a connoisseur of the cannabis plant and my post was only meant to reflect that... Now you wanna call me a child so I'll just school you a bit on the game.

Hi guys and thanks for the feedback.
1) If we would find a good service to test the weed/hash for us, we would not spend a lot of time for the research. If any one post a link where we can find such service we will quit the project and use the service.
2) Also we will never make any money with this test, as the costs are in the moment higher as we want them to have and we not even count the time it needs to be done.
3) Smoking by some one may give you a hint about the strong/weakness of a weed/hash but never the absent of chemicals used or not.
We are trying to make it cheaper, but also we want to have the quality as high as we can. We set the test milestone to Q2 2012 and other about 10 Test. After the test phase we will decide if we go on or not.

swch, where have you acquire the standards for the tests ? Which method will you use ? Example of test results ?

I think this is a great idea. I get inquiries all the time as to what is the strongest strain. I use the 'smoke it' test myself, which is of course very subjective and I know I have a fairly high tolerance level. Being able to back up the claims with a THC % would be an added seller bonus. And for medical users looking pain medication, the cannaboid numbers would be great to know as well.
I would suggest that you optionally post the results of the tests or allow the vendor/seller/testee to request that you post the results on their behalf to prevent an influx of sellers who just make numbers up. Sort of an independent 3rd party.

No mate, your immature and your a idiot aswell how the hell can you test THC/CBD levels by smoking it? you wouldn't have a bloody clue on how to test THC + CBD levels. I'm not even in the US and I know FOR A FACT that THC is NOT "the only thing people look for in the clubs"

Your obviously a over-cocky american who sounds like a 14-year old who's just a little bit too excited and obviously knows nothing about science or measuring potency in weed who gives a bad name to smokers and connoisseurs in cali if your idea of a scientific test is to "put 5 strains in front of you, smoke them and order them most to least potent".
You do need a lab to tell you what's in your weed and the different cannabinoid levels present and their quantity, which is why costs are expensive, and they are necessary if you have a certain level of pride and accuracy on what your selling.
You don't need to "school" me, I've been smoking/selling/buying for almost a decade with 20 grows under my belt from homegrows and even commercial operations back in the day.
If your brother is truly in the medical mj industry then he'd confirm what your talking about is absolute bollocks, go back to buying your overpriced $80 1/8's and being told by your "dealer" that you got "da bomb shit"

I'm assuming he'd give a dead-drop/safehouse address as most vendors tend to do when it comes to swaps e.t.c

Swaps/trades between trusted parties are different than publicly providing an illegal service with a physical endpoint.

Not really, your still having illegal items shipped to a physical location regardless of parties and levels of trust involved.
