So Im plannin on pickin up one of humboldtsfinests qps and needed around $1100 worth of btc because I had a few other things i wanted also. Well I found this gar guy claiming to sell btc at like %30 below their actual value, needless to say i was skeptical so I sent him a message asking why they were so cheap. he answered pretty quickly and said he would rather not talk about where he gets his btc but asked if i still wanted to trade or do a trial trade. I had 2 $500 moneypacks and 1 $200 pack since 500 is the max you can load, so i asked him if we could do a trial first, he said that would be fine so after a few minutes of thinking i sent him the $200 mp code, he messaged me back almost instantly saying he had sent the coins but nothing appeared in my wallet.. i began to freakout and messaged him but he told me sometimes it can take up to 2 hours to receive coins, i of course didnt believe him and began to call him a scammer and a liar. but what do you know, 1 and a half hours later the coins showed up! I immediately apologized and asked if we could still go through with the rest of the deal, he said this would be fine so we did and i ended up receiving all the coins we agreed upon, but now im kinda freakin out.. could this be le? why sell me coins so cheap? it makes no sense at all.. should i hold off on my purchaeses? thanks people

Sounds like they might be stolen (or tainted in some other way).  Either spend them fast or wash them through something like Bitcoin Fog.

Definitely mix or tumble or wash them.
Just because they are cheap does not mean they are LE.

But they ARE definitely dirty.. especially if he doesn't want to talk about it.
And uhm, well, there is always the conspiracy that the FBI/CIA work with MtGox.. which they CAN'T EXACTLY TRACE YOU.. but they can trace those btc and see them go through YOUR Road account and see their transaction then see the vendor they go to.

So, wash them, mix them, tumble them. All day all night then spend the hell out of em.

or this new 1-post user's post could be the same guy, the seller with 0 transactions (dealing out of escrow?), and using this as an advertisement for his scam..  just saying^^

I have posted this up as a potential scam. It is my opinion (and I must stress that it is only a personal opinion, I have no evidence other than the vendors stats and the type of deal they are offering) that some people are going to get burned by this.

The thread I posted is here:
http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=32943.0

Member for 5 days, NO feedback and NO listed / verifiable transactions. It also appears that he/she has deleted their listings and cleared their vendor page. Perhaps they were indeed legitimate and managed to get rid of their coins or perhaps they were spooked by attention / decided better of it.
Regardless of the reason behind clearing their profile, I would urge all users to remain cautious.
