To back up your secret key:

gpg -a --export-secret-keys -o mysecret.asc 0xDEADBEEF

Where 0xDEADBEEF is your key ID.  Then copy mysecret.asc to an external device (e.g. a flash drive) to be copied back to the new system and imported back into your keyring.

I would advise making a copy of your entire GPG directory (usually ~/.gnupg/ on POSIX systems).

To backup your BTC just make a copy of your wallet.dat file.  You can do this from within the Bitcoin-qt client.
