Title: How do I get vendor status on the forums

Hello.

First, I want to make it clear that this is NOT my vendor account but how exactly does a vendor get the vendor tag on the forums?

I've seen this explained on other threads.  You have to have a certain number of posts and/or transactions and message a particular moderator who will add the tag whenever he gets around to it (he's very busy).  Unfortunately I can't remember the details of which moderator it is and what the minimum thresholds are (because I'm not a vendor, so it does not affect me).  I suggest you PM Limetless and ask because I'm pretty sure he knows (I vaguely recall it being him commenting about it in one of those other threads).

I have waited for it for some time. Some one said that you have to have something like 150 sales and sell illegal items not just gray market stuff, There may be a minimum post count. I really don't know.

I dont think there is any real rhyme or reason to it. If there was. It should be on the wiki. Right?

Am I the only one that doesn't like that "print" button at the top of every thread? I mean call me paranoid, but does it need to appear that easy?

Lol, I don't do that at anyone mate. We are all equal here. :)

Just so you all know the vendor forum isn't some sort of elitist club and it doesn't have an "Old Boys of Eton" mentality either. We are just protective of it because we don't want it infiltrated by A. Those that'd abuse it, B. Scammers and most importantly C. LE so given that you have to understand why there is restrictions. Also it's not an invite-only affair, there is a criteria but this is being reviewed currently.
