That's a shame. It looks like it forwards to the page where I got the rest of the Tor Project links from.
I also just noticed this one:
3g2upl4pq6kufc4m.onion -- DuckDuckGo search engine

xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/badtornodes/ InspecTor
-
xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/badtornodes/ InspecTor
I've been checking that website a bit and it looks very interesting. Is it true that it allows you to create your own .onion website?
Edit: nvm it's invite only :(
Second edit: It's also available for a fee of $5 in BTC.

dx37guvtyy7wil3n.onion
What the fuck is that?
It's a supposedly highly classified content-container. Turns out to be a picture of a man who pulls his arse open so you can peak in. To the others: save yourself some time, don't go there.

God dammit I wish I read that before opening, fucking goatse. I've been trolled. >:(

Going around posting links to spread asses. You should be ashamed.

Heh. Can't argue with that.

Excellent link, added it.
We already have a nice list, I'm pretty happy with that.

Didnt see this one posted.

Yeah the first time I got on TORDIR I ended up in some fucked up places and swore I'd never return there. At least with the hidden wiki you get a better description of what you're about to click on. I don't use TOR for anything besides SR, because the darkweb is fucked up. A guy on another forum told me about the Silk Road, and warned me about the darkweb. I believe he was right.

do any of the TOR image uploaders scrub metadata?
-
I think its useful for looking up particular things. But as long as you use common sense i don't think that you'll run into too much trouble.
-
how do i check metadata? especially GPS watermarks? best way to remove it all? especially GPS watermarks?

do any of the TOR image uploaders scrub metadata?
I wouldn´t count on it. Yet even if they did, don´t use that service. Because that would mean that you still have to send the image with sensitive meta data to that website. Depending on how it´s programmed, it´s very well possible for the owner of the website to see that information. And you can´t be sure if the site admin is to be trusted. LE can set up a .onion website just like any other entity.

That would be a good question for another thread ;) There are a few out there on this topic, or you can start your own.

Thanks was looking for some sites like the ones youve listed really appreciate it!

Hopefully this doesn't become the Rickroll of Tor.

Linux is more secure than windows, but there is a considerable learning curve involved.
guru could you tell me if my avi contains any metadata?
Ben
Video is another kettle of fish altogether. Video editing is not something I'm at all familiar with, sorry.
Guru
by avi i meant my display pic on this forum lol. Sorry

Added GPG Windows tutorial.
I believe there's another smaller .onion black market out there (Black Market Reloaded). Does anybody have the .onion URL?
-
xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/badtornodes/ InspecTor
wretched, how do you use InspecTor / ExcludeNodes generator? I've looked at it and I don't understand it at all. What do you do with this information?
BB
-
Yep. http://5onwnspjvuk7cwvk.onion/index.php
Not recommended, though -- wall to wall scammers.
Guru
Thanks. Is it just a lot of vendors over there that are scammers, or do you have indications that the entire management of the site is corrupted?
Because if you there are just a lot of scammers, but their escrow service is safe, then it could be used as an alternative for SR. If you know the seller from SR (and he has the same GPG key), then you can trade with him at the other site as well.

Added :

GPG practice robot.

Wondering why nobody already linked to tormail:
jhiwjjlqpyawmpjx.onion/login.php (tormail)
http://ciz4t2plqme3e73a.onion/ (hidden wiki mirror, use it with caution and brain)
http://j5mzhqr3md32bnbb.onion (Onion Drug Source Review, well inspirated forum, low activity)
http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/secureconfig/tutorial.html (useful tutorial for OpenBSD)
http://safeorscam.com (No onion page, but useful for the onionland :) )
I think it's not in the wish of SR to link onion-vendors.
-
Tormail was already on the list. ;) I added the tutorial and the mirror site. I will include that forum when it has more than 1 active member.
If you know other places of commerce in .onion land, please list them. That would be very useful, SR will not censor such information.

a hidden onion list is for sale on SR i saw, quite cheap for its contents, which a lot is known and outdated, but fun all the same
i found a funny one the other day;
azqby6clvwnyswmh.onion/rates.html

That's hilarious.
I note they're good at listing their prices and even a PGP key, but they fail to mention which region(s) they, um, service.
-
http://xqz3u5drneuzhaeo.onion/users/secureconfig/tutorial.html (useful tutorial for OpenBSD)
this tutorial is extremely outdated and should not be followed, however the general concepts outlined in it are still valid so if you can implement it yourself go ahead
I myself cannot judge that. I temporarily removed the link awaiting an expert's opinion.

+1 xdtfje3c46d2dnjd.onion on cryptocat!

Nice resource. Interesting culture around here too. Very new so it's nice to see some more literature to browse.
Well done.

When you think about it, that actually makes sense. The ladies would be independent contractors working in various cities around the globe. The hidden service operator makes the appointments, collects the fees, and disburses payments to the girls. Girls will come and go, so putting up a fixed list of locations could be problematic, as it would be in constant flux.
Potentially, this is a great strategy for avoiding law enforcement, although you would be limiting your clientele somewhat to those knowledgeable enough to use Tor. I suppose that would not entirely be a bad thing, as it would tend to keep out the riff-raff. The site operators can pretty-well conduct business with impunity, since how is LEA ever going to trace them? The only ones taking the risks, are the girls (of course) and the paying customers, both of whom could be liable to be ripped-off (or arrested.)
I have friends who are sex workers. I'm just glad they work in places where prostitution is legal and they have security (bodyguards/drivers) with them when visiting clients (yes, the escorts are escorted).
Licensing that industry means regular STD checks and no law enforcement interference unless a crime actually occurs (e.g. a client assaulting a sex worker). There are some dangers, of course, but a lot less than in places where prostitution is illegal.

The weirdness in this country is that technically, prostitution is NOT illegal. Communication for the purposes of prostitution is illegal (go figure).
Okay, that's pretty weird. The quote in the New York Times article makes it even more weird with the inclusion of "living on the avails of the trade" being a crime. What would be the point otherwise? If it were just about the sex then it would be a lot of one-night stands. For fuck's sake! Those laws are just retarded, it's a way of outlawing prostitution while pretending to the opposite.
There was a madam who ran a 'bondage bungalow' who was charged with running a house of prostitution, or a common bawdy house. She fought this in court, and won, as this story in the New York Times states:
World Briefing | The Americas
Canada: ‘Bondage Bungalow’ Madam Wins Prostitution Law Challenge
By IAN AUSTEN
Published: September 28, 2010
An Ontario court struck down key provisions of Canada’s prostitution laws on Tuesday after finding that they endanger women by forcing them to work on the streets rather than from their homes. While prostitution is legal in Canada, federal criminal law bans almost every activity that makes it possible. The decision, by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, overturns laws prohibiting “the keeping of a bawdy house, communicating for the purposes of prostitution and living on the avails of the trade.” The constitutional challenge was brought by two prostitutes and a dominatrix who was convicted under the bawdy-house law for running what she called the “Bondage Bungalow.” The ruling will not take effect for at least 30 days to allow Parliament to write new laws. An appeal by the government is likely to extend that period.
I think the government may have appealed... this will likely end up in the Supreme Court of Canada.
I don't doubt it. With luck those ridiculous laws will be overturned, but the whole world appears to be undergoing a conservative reaction at the moment, at least on a number of things, so I doubt overturning such laws will be quick, if it happens at all.

Bitcoin Fog has been down for more than 12 hours now. I'm starting to get a little worried. :(
-
BitCoin Fog is online again. There might have been all kinds of reasons for it being temporarily down. Maybe there was a local power outage, or maybe there was maintenance being done on the server.
-
zerodays.org has profiled many .onion sites and adds new ones frequently. It's worth a look
