But recently, when I post my key, it posts it twice, and there is that version information and the like missing. And when I encrypt something, and someone decrypts it, it repeats the same thing twice. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, but not only is all of my information still retained, the issue is still remaining! Check your settings to see if anything has changed recently. I don't use Keychain Access, so I can't double-check for settings that might produce the duplication of output (e.g. key exports or cipher blocks).Quote from: happyroller1234 on July 05, 2012, 05:50 amI also tried making a new key pair to see if that would help, but it asks for a "Pinetry Mac" password that I cannot seem to remember making. If anyone has any insight into this issue, it would be much appreciated as I need to place an order very soon!Pinentry is just a method of handling passphrases for keys (which allows for caching the passphrase too). It is prompting for the passphrase of whichever key you are using (the passphrase you set when you created the key).
