Title: blip on machine tues, any possibility of trojan?

My machine blipped and failed to restart tuesday, after one attempt it resolved itself and restarted appearing normal. i ran a scan and look over things to the extent of my limited knowledge and found nothing appearing abnormal. Is it possible that the pigs have some kind of trojan or something they may have infected people with somehow? anyone else seen something strange? advice please :)

Did it happen for the first time? May just be some hardware issue. Maybe the gfx card starts to fail or something.
If you got infected then a scanner may not detect it. Would be better to run Wireshark and look what connections your computer makes. But if you don't understand the output then it may unnecessarily make you even more paranoid.
