I send coins to my account. So far they havent shown and its been hours. i checked block chain and as of now it shows 61 conformations. I thought it only needed 6.
I was ready to make some orders but i need these coins.
Whats going on?

Deposits can sometimes take longer than a few hours, if they are delayed longer than 12 hours please submit a customer support ticket to SR support, instructions are in the sticky at the top of this board.

they said they are having problems. i just deposited more just to see what would happen. as soon as it hit 6 conformations it showed. you would think they would look right into it. Sucks for me! as of now I'm out 7 coins and they act like its no big deal. well it is to me I needed to place an order tonight to ensure it is shipped tomorrow.

74 confirmations and nothing in my account. 11+ hours. Hope Im not fucked out of my money some how. In the past it only took a few min.

Looks like we have the beginning of a delay then.
Everyone just stay calm, you will get your coins.
Instructions for contacting SR support are in the sticky at the top of this board.
Anyone else feeling the need to announce there delay here please just use this thread and do not create loads of duplicate threads on the same issue, it will not get your issue resolved any faster, all it will do is clog up the customer support board.

I am having this same problem. Now at 12+ hours delay / 99 confirmations. I sent a message to support after 12 hours as instructed and am awaiting a reply. I do not know if letting them know that I specifically am having this problem matters, or if these delays affects the whole network. Keeping my fingers crossed this will be sorted shortly, I have vendors to get in touch with like everybody else.
Will be checking the tread manically until its sorted.

longest time I've ever seen a transaction take was an hour.
evertime it hits 6 conformations they show. their is somethis SR isnt telling us. the site keeps going in and out. now the coin thing, whats next? maybe they are having the same problems Atlantis did; that caused Atlantis to shut down.

same problem for me, i made one transfer yesterday evening, then another around 8 last night but neither have have shown up although they are showing in my account elsewhere with 90 confirmations

I have Sent over some coins into my wallet over 15 hours ago and still nothing has come up.
I have been using this site now for a while and this is the first time it has happened to me, please advise.
I have submitted an SR report. How long do delays usually last?

going on 14 hours. 4 hours and no response to support message, message unread. I wonder how worried we are supposed to be here, I would like to see something from SR staff, some reassurance that this will be ok and we will not lose money. The comment re. Atlantis further up in the thread did nothing to calm me, I can promise you that..

DPR informs me that this issue should now be fixed.
Hopefully delayed deposits will catch up soon and start to show in everyones accounts.

This happens from time to time, most recently before this was just a few weeks ago and every time it happens everyone freaks out for 24 hours then it gets sorted and we all go back to normal until the the next time.
Just please try to be patient and relax, no one has ever lost their coins indefinitely, it always gets resolved. If you don't believe me just look back through the old threads on this board, you will see precisely what I am talking about.

i got the same problem . Okay it was mabye 20h hours ago and blockchain said its all good and more then 100 confis are there.
Since i used SR every deposit takes only 30 min. whats wrong now ?
I contacted the SR support 2h ago and its still unread :( how long does it take to get replaayed ?

18 hours, 7 hours since message to support with no reply.. something like that. The message from samesamebutdifferent stating that it should be sorted and we should be seeing money soon calmed me down a bit again, but that was 2 hours ago.

We are a lot, i have 190 confirmations and the coins are in the wallet, but only SR has acess to that wallet.
I hope this ends soon, i need do a trade.

The boats getting bigger, I'm in the same sitch, I'll just echo what the SR admin have said and keep patient. I'm confident it's not SR's fault as the same thing is happening on my Black Market Reloaded account, probably the bitcoin network itself. Keep in mind as well folks that the time your bitcoins take to move depend on the priority, 1 or 2 bitcoins is a lot in terms of us as buyers but people trade 100's daily, keep calm and carry on.

Just got the same reply! Funny thing is, this is for sure the first time I use this address.. I saw this in other threads too. Cant wait for this to be sorted. Its nice to see how this community is being ran, both the main site and the forums, quick responses from admins.

Been over 24 hours since my transaction was confirmed, no coins as of yet.
Received a very quick reply from silk road customer support regarding a ticket I sent, they told me they are working out a small problem relating to the use
of archived wallet addresses and it will be fixed soon, and that in the future I should use a new address for every deposit.
Hopefully this will be resolved soon as I was supposed to place some orders yesterday.

In any other business setting it would be appropriate to ask for a refund of some kind......i.e. silk road fees. Mistakes will always happen but when a business is not holding up its end refunds or discounts is how a business would, "make it up to there customer's" whether they are buyer's or sellers.......

maybe its 22 hours for me now or so. It was 5 and a half hours since it reported in this thread that the issue was supposedly fixed and coins was promised to soon be starting to come through to peoples SR wallets. I do not wish to turn to pointless bitching, but it would be nice to see some reassurance again, I'm starting to wonder if I will be able to get in touch with my vendors today or not.
Cant wait to see people starting to report coins in accounts..

Yea its been over a day now for me, I reported about 4 hours ago...
People keep saying its going to fine and that the problems fixed, yet every time I check my wallet it has nothing in it :-(

Also the wording in the bulk-reply from support seemed to kinda indicate that it was a minor problem and made me think I would be able to move on within a few hours from there.

Sent bitcoins almost 24hours ago and not showing in my account yet. I only sent just under one - must be alot more concerning for those in the same boat who have deposited alot more. This is a troubling scenario at best. I'll leave it for tonight and hope they appear 2moro. Never experienced this before on SR.

Unfortunately all inquiries I've made about a time table have been ignored. If this is going to take days or weeks I'd like to know so I can start making other arrangements. If its as easy as submitting another deposit, I'd have done it already had I known how long this was going to take.

Maybe find the thread about the last similar occurrence and see if there's anything in there to suggest that first, so you don't put more coins in this mess for no good reason. I for one think it will be time to report something to us users waiting for coins within a bit now, given the wording in the bulk-reply. It gave me the feeling that it would soon start to be sorted. I am starting to fear this will go on and screw up my schedule for the week.
And regarding the fresh address thing in the mass reply, I am certain I had an address I had not used before. I remember seeing that reply or a similar one being posted in the thread about the last time this happened.. Man I need this situation to be resolved now, so badly.

That was the same message I got from support. The OP said he made a second deposit after the first didn't show and it went through after 6 confirmations. Others in the thread stated they used a new address, the deposit still didn't show and they received the same message from support.
I think the message from support was just a canned or auto response they sent to everyone, didn't really answer any of my questions.

Also that most likely means just pressing the "get new address" button, not registering a new account for each transfer

obviously i didnt mean get a new accoiunt every time, i mean just use a new one with a fresh address for this one transaction whilst the address with your coins in is getting sorted, once you have your coins back then you can get a fresh address before each deposit

We're going to need an ark. I sent my coins over 24 hours ago, & I see "Confirmations 213 Confirmations" on Blockchain.info.
As far as the problem being an archived address, I don't see how that could be it. The SR account page used to say to use a new address but that old addresses would be still be recognized.
And I sent my Bitcoins to the address on my Account page; don't see a way to request a new Bitcoin address anyway.

Got to say I'm disappointed in the lack of support in the "Customer Support" forum and SR support in general. Obviously this is a wide spread problem, and it's been a problem for over 24 hours, but any useful communication from SR support is conspicuously absent.

I was just about to say that. Obviously they are aware of this thread, and its been many hours since anything official was relayed in it, and when it was it made it sound as if the issue was resolved. They wouldn't be having any kind of problem they do not know how to fix and not telling us about it, would they? I wonder when it would be appropriate with a message on the SR Welcome Page.. Damnit, I need to hear something about what is going on.. Are more and more people getting this problem all along now, depositing their money into this? Approaching minor panic-mode here...

I have 3 coins waiting to be deposited. To be honest I'm glad it's not just me and is a known problem otherwise I really would be panicking!!
It would be nice to get an update from SR support though, they're normally better than this at keeping us informed!

That is the same automated reply that I and other people have been getting for 6 hours on this issue. I was going to send another PM to support but I guess I might just get another one of those. Looking back at these issues that they have had a few in the past, if you browse the forums, this now seems to be have gone on for longer than the last long delay on the 11th/12th, and it has been a long time since anyone heard anything new from staff. The wording "small issue" had me thinking we would be back on track a long time ago, and now Im starting to really worry. It is high time they tell us something.

I'll be going to bed quite soon. I'll report to here if I see any coins, Im sure everyone that has been adding to this thread will do the same. Even if I am new and it has gone quite a long while, I am still confident in the competence and integrity of SR staff and I am sure they are doing everything they can. And when reading back, I have not gotten the impression that anyone has ever lost their coins during one of these delays. It just seems to be a pretty darn long one, this.

After the first day, I though given the admins "its a small issue" reply that things would change.
It gave me hope and not a good one.
I've been checking my wallet and the support forums every 2 hours like clockwork.
The closest I've been to communicated with in terms of SR staff is apparently an automated message which has proven itself inaccurate given the length of time and the obvious truth that its not a minor easily solved occurrence give such feedback from the patrons of the site.
Therefore I am worried and feel technically abandoned since the last admin post was a long time ago.
Still hope all turns out well and this is the first time I have experienced this. :-)

As requested by SR, I changed my password & PIN, but my Bitcoin receiving address remains the same. There used to be an option to request a new Bitcoin receiving address but I don't see that anywhere.
This is the same automated response myself and everyone else has been given. Nothing tangible or helpful from SR support.
This thread is at the top of the page in "Customer Support", it has 5 pages of posts. The only "support" we've seen is a couple of posts from samesamebutdifferent.

I just saw something that could be perceived as positive news in the Silk Road part of the forums, post title "brief downtime", thread started by DPR earlier today. Go check it out, not quite sure what to read out of it, but it seems someone has received coins to his account today which is more than anyone has been able to say in this thread yet.

Does anyone know if its safe to ask for a new bitcoin address per the SR support suggestion to transfer new coins in while my other coins are in limbo?
My worry is the in limbo coins going to my old address wouldnt make it because I would have a new one

I honestly wouldn't start another transfer until we start seeing a lot more people reporting their coins having arrived in their SR wallets.

This seems positive and has helped me chill out a bit :-)

I just sent a message asking to have them manually credit my account. We'll see if anything becomes of it. According to this thread the problem was fixed 12 hours ago.

The thing is, tomorrow morning my time I will be running dangerously short on time to get done before the weekend. Is staff usually as responsive all hours of the day, is there staff working in all time-zones? I am dreading waking up and trying to get help "manually", only to find I have to wait 6 hours for a reply. Trust me, I realize that this must be a very stressful situation for staff, whatever it is that they are dealing with, but still Ive got my own stress.. Has anyone ever had them "manually credit" funds to their account before, if so was it quick and simple?

Nothing about this problem has been handled in a timely fashion, I doubt the process of manually crediting bitcoins will. At this point I have zero confidence in SR support. A little communication would go a long way in this matter.

I am VERY tempted to just generate a new wallet address and then transfer another batch of coins over and just deal with the manual credit later

I don't understand the poor communication either. It makes me feel like something nefarious is going on, there is no reasonable explanation why someone from SR support isn't tending to the "customer support" forum. That is unless they are all out back smashing hard drives and burning documents.
I feel like this is a much larger problem than they are letting on. Until someone comes along and provides info to the contrary, I'd say 50/50 our money is gone. At best it's going to take days or weeks.

Yeah! They should certainly be seeing this god damn thread and our more and more desperate need for explanations.. No good damn reason to not let us know whats going on, but for sure a few real bad reasons that I can think of. Fuck man, somethings gotta give soon. I'll take a nap, I hope to god to wake up to some good news, and if not that, at least SOME news. That message about "Manually Crediting" did its work and calmed me real good for about 10 minutes, until I saw it was another automated one..

Looks like the squeaky wheel gets the oil.
32 hours, 7 messages to support, dozens of forum posts, and a lot of frustration later I have my money.
I understand sometimes mistakes are made, unforeseen problem arise, shit happens, its what you do in response to these things that matter. I think SR Customer support did a poor job of handling this situation from top to bottom. This is the "Customer support" forum and aside from a couple of posts on the first page (culminating in "its fixed") they have been completely absent from this thread. The only support available was from other customers.
A little communication goes a long way.
If it wasn't for Candyman and myself bitching in the thread started by DPR in another sub forum I doubt anything would have been done. It shouldn't be that way.
I can say I'm coming away from this experience with a poor taste in my mouth, as a customer I can only vote with my wallet. Unfortunately SR has a monopoly in the online drug market place otherwise I would take my business elsewhere on principal alone.

Like I said, I think the lack of communication and support from the SR staff made this a lot harder than it should have been for everyone.

I messaged support after they told me to wait 12 hours. I got an apology and my coins were credited straight away.
Other than the lack of communication I don't see what else could have been done!

Are you seriously complaining about not having heard back from SR support after 90 minutes? average wait time is 12 hours, when there are issues affecting a lot of people like now you could be waiting 24 hours.
SR doesn't have a large customer support department employing dozens of people, by its very nature SR needs to employ as few people as possible for obviously reasons.

Maybe I formulated myself clumsily, but I am now starting to get close to 72 hours since my transaction was confirmed and I have seen a lot of people state that they have had their issue with this resolved within minutes after sending their addresses and amounts. If my tone was was a little bit out of control there, it is because I am pretty stressed over this since I had planned on making contact with my vendors on monday night when the transaction was confirmed and it is now Wednesday afternoon. I really did not mean to come off as a total asshole, but please appreciate the frustration.
There was also the last automated "12 hour message" that was apparently a mistake according to a post earlier in this thread. Had it not been for that, I would have sent my request for manual crediting 18 hours ago or more now. So even if I may have displayed a bad attitude there, there were other things playing in than just not having my message read within 90 minutes, which I would never of course complain about under other circumstances.

Hmm I have had my request unread for 7-8 hours now, I wonder if I should update it with the address that it was deposited from, or just leave it alone for another few hours. I put the address to my S R wallet obviously, and the amount transferred. Cant wait for this to be done.

Im in a bad place myself as far as time running out, I sent my request with info 10 hours ago, it is still unread. Not sure what I can do. getting past 72 hours since I should have had the coins, so I thought I had planned this out fool-proof.. some idea about how long we may have to wait should perhaps be posted in the forums so that people can quit obsessing about it for a little while.

How long has your request gone unread? There must really be a lot of accounts to manually process since my request with my information is approaching 11 hours as unread now. I am frustrated as hell. I would've liked to have seen more communication about this, now and throughout the whole thing.

I've been waiting almost 48 hours for my deposit to appear. Just sent my transaction details to Support. Hopefully, a manual credit will be enacted within the next 24 hours. Obviously, this is a stressful situation for all involved and as much as one can suggest that a "wee bit of patience can go a long way" unfortunately, patience is obviously and understandably a luxury that can't be afforded for alot of people doing business on SR. Hope for everyone's sake this issue gets resolved sooner rather than later. I'm sure the SR squad are doing their best. I'll post an update in 24 hours time.

Items I am very interested in that are rare may run out. I have bad feelings too, but I can clearly see the transaction and I didnt get the address from anybody else, so they should sort it out sooner or later. Also when you read back on the forums, people have been getting their coins. Just feel that a lot of people are sitting around anxious and there has been bad communication throughout this, I think they should talk to the users that are having problems, make some sort of statement. I am past 3 days since I should've had my coins now and around 12 hours since I sent my details to support. And all I can do is keep complaining about it in this thread.. sorry.

I'm on over 48 hours since my confirmations and since my deposit of almost 3 bitcoins went through and still nothing in my account on Silkroad. :(( I emailed silk support this morning, over 12 hours ago and no reply. First experience if this happening :( last time the whole process took about an hour...) Thanks the last post though. I will be patient and wait longer :)) I just hope my money didn't get lost :(

last message i received from SR said if the coins didnt show in 12 hours they would manually deposit them. That was 18-20 hours ago. since then I've messaged them about a dozen times. They havent even read anything Ive sent.
this is crazy. its as simple as checking the block chain with my address and seeing i was sent 7.085 coins. Now SR has them. I've spent lots on this site. Just look below at my buyers stats. Now they do this to me. I am to the point I wish Atlantis was still up because i would make the move. I just might have to look in to other places.

would making a new thread in the Silk Road discussion forum make a difference, or make staff comment further.. I for one am very hesitant to do so, they should be monitoring this one and watching peoples desperation already.

I was just posting in another thread about how government monitoring of Bitcoins could very well be the one thing that brings SR down. What we have here with uncredited Bitcoin deposits is a different issue, but it's going to have a similar effect if it happens again.

Sent btc to SR address 2 days ago and they have never shown up. I have 424 confirmations on block chain. Yesterday support told me to wait 8 hours and write again so i did. Then they wrote to wait 12 hours and write again. Then they told me to wait 12 hours and then write again and they would manually credit my account. 49 hours later, they wont respond to my emails.
Evidently they archived the address.
So it seems SR is JERKING me around and in no hurry to credit my btc back, IF EVER >:( >:( >:(

Within four hours of sending my first Support ticket the SR squad manually credited my account. Thankful and relieved. Hope and trust everyone else who has BC's floating in the ether find them bedded in there account sometime very soon.There's always a few bumps along any road. Keep on truckin SR crew :)

Thanks, one more message to support was all it took. Coins now received. Apparently my account was credited back on Tuesday but for some reason it didn't go through.
