Title: Add "Research Chemicals" to the product listings
Post by: ralph123 on July 29, 2013, 01:49 am
What's up people? Hey I was wandering if it would be possible to adjust the listings on SR. I was scrolling down thru the exstacy listings and got very frustrated as I had to click thru page after page trying to find listings for mdma and x pills. There's like 39 pages for those items and a lot of it is for methylone

I would propose that you add another category called "research chemicals" and would add sub categories to that like benzos, psychedelics, stimulants, and so on.

I'd like to hear other opinions of this idea and if this is posted in the wrong section I'd like a mod or admin to put it in the right section please. Thanks

In some respects I like the idea of such a grouping. But given how widely varied the nature of RC's is, the current setup has some benefits. Mainly in that it is somewhat organized via effect. I have been introduced to a variety of RC's via browsing SR listings and I usually have at least some vague notion of what they do based on what grouping they are in.

If it were re-categorized to have one big RC section with sub-sections there would be some almost unnecessary nesting going on.

Why don't you use the MDMA and Pill sub-sections?
What defines something as a research chemical?

Thanks guys yes that makes since and after looking back on the question it does seem simple to just use the x pill/mdma sub categories. Why didn't I do that? I guess it can be blamed on lack of sleep which is also the reason I left the stove eyes on lol oops! But the smoke woke me up after a couple hours thank God

I did consider developing a 'Research Chemicals' category but after discussing it with DPR we both felt that having research chemicals in other categories based on their effects would be the best thing to do; the lack of a basis on which one could determine what is considered a research chemical or not also factored heavily into that decision. Basically the exact reasons posted by Dr RA and Llama Socks.

+1 thanks for the reply Libertas. Yea it got a little frustrating scrolling down thru the listings but not only that. It's kind of deceiving thus giving a dubious and shady tint to Silk Road especially since it's boost in popularity giving the fact that so many new people are joining up on a daily basis.

From my experience when I was new I know that it peaked my interest to see newer compounds listed amongst those well established party favorites. Seeing them listed like that and seeing them at a much lower price made me want to get more knowledge from forum reviews and not so much more educated about the stats and the neurotoxicity .

With that being said I applaud SR for getting rid of their guns and ammo listings for sure but some of these new members will not even know that they are ingesting RC's but then again there will always be those who know and want them anyway.

May I suggest a marketing research quiz where the vendors are required to state on their ads that the product is an RC for 2 weeks. Have someone do an annalysis and document the decline of sales volume for RC's?

or not? Just saying that some folks would not partake if they are told up front but in all fairness they should read up on stuff themselves.

anyone got a noose? lol  Freedom Rules and no not trying to be a smart elick and after reading what I just wrote I realize that what I was saying is the same thing we are trying to stand up against with "big brother"
