I have a problem with fake drugs being posted in the pain releif section of prescription medications... Ethically I won't even get started on why this is bullshit/sholdn't be there.. If there's going to be selling of bunk/fake/ drugs of any kinds (prescription or others like LSD/MDMA etc..) I think there needs to be a forum/listing for such things.. like "Fake/Copies/BUNK drugs" section in which you can specifiy if you're selling fake pressed MDMA pills/oxy's whatever... I really don't like the fact that there are fake drugs "copies" listed in the oxy/pain relief section...
A. I don't like sorting through them because they keep catching my eye
B. There already has to be at least one customer who didn't fully understand they were buying fakes as the add doesn't clearly state "THESE ARE FAKE, THESE ARE NOT REAL"... the listings leave alot wide open.. I had to write a vender asking him exactly what this was all about before I then knew to stay far away..
C. This SEEMS to go against the energy/vibe that Silk Road and DPR are all about...
I've had friend's buy 10 packs of OXY 30 IR's for like 250.00 only to get 4 real ones and 6 fakes.. they were really pissed, hurt, upset, sad and all that stuff... People are loosing friends/respect/business because of fake pressed pills...
It just seems wrong to me.

Hey, do you have any links/examples? I took a look through 5-6 pages of prescription pain meds and saw a few which were advertised as fake oxy and watsons, but was actually tramdol, and was pretty clear about it.

I don't know why someone would want to buy fake meds, it seems pointless (weird showing off?), but if they're clear about the fakeness I'm not sure how it's different to the fake jewellery and designer gear for sale. Some people would just rather have the fantasy, especially if it's cheap. Maybe it amuses people?
There's all sorts of things listed in the different sections that have nothing to do with that section, like that gumtree guy. I hear Libertas is doing his best to tidy it up. Maybe you could put in a feature request with his name in the heading, grab his attention.
In the end, though, if you're buying anything from here without thoroughly checking it out, you're asking to get shafted. I'm not a libertarian, but I assume the personal responsibility angle is a fundamental tenet of this site's operating philosophy.
Anyone claiming to be selling one thing and shipping another, as happened to your friend, is bottom scum, should be reported, they'll be banned post haste. Happens a bit, unfortunately.

Yeah I mean they're being listed as "copies" etc... I'm just saying. If there's going to be the selling of fake/bunk drugs on here, there should be a section for them...

I guess they're more clearly labeled now but still... Its just the principle of the thing. I personally don't like it. I'm not even talking shit about the people who would buy those and say mix them in a 10 pack of pills... I do think its super shady though if you were to sell 10 packs of OXY30's and 2-3 of them are total fakes.. but thats the drug game.. and thats also why I like SR. I feel more confident about the drugs I get on here than from any previous drug dealer I've dealt with over the last 13 years of my substance abusing.. :)

These are customer remarks about what was supposed to be REAL xanax bars coming from a vender who's selling copies... Its like, "woha, what a surprise that I got sent fake drugs by a drug dealer who sells fake pills to people..." ROFL :::

If you see falsely advertised listings then please report it via the market site.
If you buy a listing and it turns out to be fake then report the vendor and take the transaction into the resolution center.

Realised what a dickish thing that was to say. Sorry Gumtree Australia, you've got an awesome service, didn't mean to sound like I was impugning it. I recommend it to all who want to sell a little something something on the Road, and of course purchase with confidence. His/her feedback speaks for itself. Solid vendor, very trustworthy!

A good example of this that might get to the original posters (or maybe just my own) issue a bit easier, is the Australian vendor selling "Fake Pills" for $5 a piece. In the description he describes it as a pressed pill with an amount of (maybe) amphetamine that isn't even noticeable, if any - for the purpose of ripping off strangers.
In my opinion listings like this fit into a category that should not be sold on SR at all because they're almost intended for the harm of others.
These vendors have no clue what's actually in these pills and I'm sure at least a few other Aussies around here can relate to the feeling of coming up on those nasty cuts like PMA\TMFF\pipazine, realizing you've just taken bad pills and hoped you wake up sane\healthy in the morning. Not a nice feeling.

Wow ??? I hadn't seen that one before... I would of assumed it automatically broke SR rules because the listing is aimed at hurting/ripping off people?
I've got enough vendors thinking I'm a prick so I'll leave it at that.

^^^ Exactly... The other day I saw a posting for "MDMA" that was a little too good to be true. I watched it closely as we buy mostly MDMA off SR. Within a few days or hours (I can't recall which) somebody posted "DO NOT BUY, THIS IS NOTHING BUT METHYLONE"... Now I understand that these things will happen from time to time and in these cases vender's will sink their own boats.
I don't really want to converse about the morality behind selling fake or falsely advertised drugs.. What I would like to address is having a listing are specifically for "fake" drugs... There's enough shit on here to sell/rip people off on your owntime. For example, selling 25mpe-dopt-4235234 (Whatever the fuck is on those paper tabs that look like LSD) as LSD... or selling Methylone as MDMA (this is a huge problem in Miami, Atlanta and even NYC)... point is, if somebody wants to scam somebody on a local basis they an purchase something off here and call it something else.. fake prescriptions could HARM SILK ROAD BUYERS in many different ways... I just think there should be an area for people who choose to sell fake imprinted drugs (Pressed MDMA pills, but mostly pharmies etc...) They should be in that area. I don't like having to sift through their bullshit to find the good shit.

I agree with OP that they should not be permitted to be with real drugs. They are counterfeit and not what they appear to be first and foremost.
Even if they are tramadol, they should not be permitted because they do not look like tramadol, they look like another drug entirely. I think I said that right =)

I agree with the OP that there should be a separate section for copies/fake meds. I do think that they should be allowed though. I can think of a couple valid reasons to buy copies. One being for pill counts. Some people need to have a certain amount of there medications in case they have a surprise pill count. This would allow them to still sell their script and not have to worry about this.
