Hi was wondering if spamming to 50 get you banned because iv been reading some posts from rumour mill and wanting to reply and write some reviews but i cant because the whole 50 situation.

I don't really see much purpose in the 50 post rule seeing as people just spam it anyway. Trying to do it with legitimate content is tedious and longwinded.
And that captcha thing about decoding books, I thought that was only for the google ones that have two words, one being the captcha and then the more readable one being a word from a book?
I mean if you wanted to get tinfoil hats about it imagine if captchas were some weird coded way of making you reveal system info about your connection/PC or something by displaying it in code and you typing it into the script.

Maybe it's just me, but the tone of that message was very...hmm, a little different from what I expected the tone around here would be. :(
Well, you have to bear in mind that drug trafficking is serious shit. This isn't a forum for discussing computer games or economics or something, it's a business orientated system for consumers, distributors and suppliers. While slightly impolite, the warning does make justifiable sense, really.
The 50 post rule should maybe be 25 or something it'd probably reduce spam.

you can do it enki! i've been pulling up a bunch of different threads at once, then going tab by tab and commenting. happy postings! oh and don't worry about beyondscientific, i suspect they're high out of their gourd :D

I'm very new to the forums, as I'm sure you can tell, but I approve of the 50 post rule, and I don't think spamming should be allowed.
The reason for the rule is to encourage proper conversations, and to filter out those who just want to troll, or spam. I think the rule, when implemented properly, can really help to form high quality topics and well thought out responses.
Maybe I'm a bit jaded, but I plan on slowly achieving my 50 posts, and using this time to benefit the community, and make quality posts. The 'Newbie Discussion' board shouldn't be filled with 'spam to 50' posts, that does nothing for the community, in my personal opinion.
