Title: Looking for possible trade...
Post by: CaptainOblivious on June 27, 2013, 03:04 pm
I just cannot seem to buy any bitcoins to use here after 10 days of trying.  I tried BitInstant and now waiting for a refund, so I'm gonna try a different route here.

Don't know if there's any demand for the following, but worth a shot I guess....

I have a valid US Passport.  It is the perfect passport because it's for a 26 year old female, but the picture hasn't been updated in over 15 years.

It has been stamped for a couple of overseas trips.  It's clean and owner will never be searching for it or reporting it stolen.

I need BTC's to conduct some business here.

I will sweeten the pot with a half ounce of fungus which has an alkaloid content of almost 3%  (which I will be giving free samples of here on SR when this next bulk batch comes in)

I'm open to all offers.

You can't sell here without a vendor account, so don't expect anyone to respond to your offer.
Also, sending goods for BTC is not a trade, it's a sale.

Consider this your first and only warning: sales are not permitted without purchasing a Silk Road vendor account. If you attempt to make sales again before obtaining vending privileges your account will be deleted.

Dayum...my bad.

Could this place make it ANY harder to do business though?  Christ lol, from what I've seen here, most vendors are just scammers anyway.

So let me get this straight....in order to do ANYTHING here, I must first PAY a large fee to the owners of this site????  LMFAO...you guys got the biggest scam going on any "net".   Who the fuck would PAY money to sell anything on a site which requires purchasing the worlds hardest currency to get anyway??

No vendors here which sell bitcoins last more than a week, half just scam peeps money, the rest, make the transaction so hard and long (giggity) that it isn't worth the stress.

Sorry to piss in ur cornflakes Mr. Admin, but you can get bent dude.....most here, including yourself have zero clue how to run anything, and you can take your smarmy attitude and shove it straight up yer ass.  You can delete my account all you want...I'll just be back under a new one an hour later.

Therin lies the problem with sites like this and their wannabe admins and mods....you guys actually THINK you run something when in reality...you have delusions of grandeur and actually run zero.

So smite my account oh mighty smiter....I'll be sure to reply to this thread when I take the 3 minutes to make a new account lol.

::) You're obviously talking out of your ass. Vendors pay a 500 dollar fee that's given back to them. It's obvious you don't know shit about how SR runs so I guess it would be in your best interests that the mods delete your account anyways before you get yourself scammed. But hey, when you make a new one, why don't you try reading the SR wiki before you get on the forums and start spouting shit. Have fun CaptainOblivious. God that username fits you too well.

lol most people are not scammers, you have to do research, and like any site that you "auction or sell" there is going to be a fee. This is a black market dont expect things to be easy you have to look around and know what you are doing. Honestly its kind of funny how you raged considering how many successful transactions go down on SR every day... And btc isnt that hard to get just hit up bitinstant or get local btc

Just stop right there. SR is obviously too HARD, you can't just whip out the visa and buy some BTC, or just make a forum post and have some guy send you money because you said you had something. Plus most vendors are scammers anyway, all the 5/5's are just fake, i think.

Seriously, i stopped taking it seriously when he said " most vendors scam". I have like 50 transactions and have never been "scammed". That's over a 9 month period. Sounds like dude is just butthurt because he either can't afford a vendor account, or he lacks the competence to conduct biz here in onion world. In either case, hopefully he doesn't come back.

Lol I know probably just a troll tbh, still funny that they find this hard when SR is so easy to operate a 12 y/o could do it if they had the money, not that I would condone someone that young using this site at all.

Yes.

If you come back and attempt to do the same thing again, you will receive one warning and be banned if you continue. 'Silk Road Administrator' is my job, so I'll be getting paid to look after that - you, however, will simply be wasting your time; time that could perhaps be spent engaging in something that will be of actual benefit to you, but I'm happy enough to do it as I'll be paid either way.

That sweet, sweet $500 bond.. Pissed me off at first.. but 6 weeks later it had turned not $3000 (It was like winning the lottery!) I sell legal stuff here because this is a solid market for my products, an as a business owner I factor in commission fees to ensure I profit (obv). Half my product sales are probably SR customers. Thousands of drug listings and satisfied buyers. Yea it looks like a scam alright!

Here from Reddit, no doubt.

Is it really that difficult to buy BTC?
