Did the necessary research etc but seems I got bit by the dreaded MP scam. Went to purchase BTC with MP after using bitinstant for so long..should of just stayed with it, anyhow this vendor had very good rep not sure what happened...
***Update***: Vendor said that he didn't cash MP. So I gave him the benefit of the doubt and checked and sure enough IT WAS CASHED. Haven't heard any more responses and I let him know he was being reported. Be careful with this vendor he seems to be taking people for lots of MP's. This activity seems to be really rampant for him as of the last few days***

SR support said they are looking into it. I have been in contact with others who to are getting the shaft by him!!! He had such a stellar rep to :/ Not sure what to make of it

its kind of baffling really. His stats were perfect. Does that mean I not only got scammed, but I actually got scammed at the only time I could have?
Maybe if I had ordered with him a day earlier, I would have got a nice chunk of bitcoin instead of NOTHING!
Seriously 4heroin, why don't you buy me some lipstick with my $500. Because I want to atleast look pretty the next time you decide to FUCK ME!! Buy some cigarettes too, 4heroin, because I like a nice smoke after I've been FUCKED!!!!

I'm in the middle of a scam with this guy. I had traded with him before no problem. He said order was processed and has stopped reading replies.
Please everyone report this guy. And if there is anything I (we) can do for sure let me know. He's really fucked me good and I feel sick about it.

Glad I read this. Fucks that scam us. I have been scammed by SOUTHBEACHID. Sent this fuck a mp for 650 and no response. Also had great ratings etc.

Vendors can leave themselves feedback using a buyer account they create. You can create as many buyers accounts as you would like here and you can even buy as many vendor accounts as you like here.

It is an open anonymous marketplace and these issues go hand in had with navigating SR. The admins are however pretty good at investigating this type of behavior when it is brought to their attention and taking the appropriate action. Whenever you see anything a bit suspicious from a vendors behavior, be that a sudden change in comms, drop in price of certain listings, asking for FE when they haven't in the past etc then flag it, discuss it and bring it to the broader communities attention. I can spot a scam happening a week before it gets lots of attention of here, the main issue is it can be a tough call to make sometimes and the admins need evidence which sometimes means the scam has to have been running for a little while before that can call it and act.
MP for BTC is one of the most prolific scams running right now so if you can find another way to buy your bitcoins please do it because I see no end to this type of scam anytime soon.

This guy had decent stats/ratings and I FE'd, and got fucked. Now Im updatuing his feedback page everyday, until I hear back from him, or something. How can we report this guy? Its people like this who ruins SR for all of us.

Hey guys, I'm new to SR and I had the hardest time getting BTC and 4 Heroin only made it harder by scamming me as well. Since I couldn't get BitInstant to work I decided to trade my MP for his BTC. I sent him a message as he requested before making the purchase to make sure he had enough BTC for the trade I wanted to make. He replied back that he had enough and it would go well. After I made the purchase nothing happened for several hours when most of his feedback said the trades are done really quick, so I messaged him twice and he didn't even read my messages and simply unloaded the MP I sent him and never heard from him again. I think the worst part about this was that this was my first ever purchase on SR and it went absolutely horrible. I know that MANY people in my position would probably have said "FVCK THIS PLACE" and never have returned. Yet I did my best to stay open minded and I eventually got some BTC into my account and made some orders that I'm hoping will arrive today. Well, good luck to everyone and I wish there was a way to resolve this problem.
