just tested it and it's working now.. it was just another hurdle that SR puts in the way of customer usability.
I didn't have to log out, I just closed the tab and opened a new one and although it was the same captcha, it worked this time.

Another hurdle that SR puts in the way of customer usability? As a buyer, you weren't privy to the hundreds of spam messages that vendors were receiving. The captcha was essential in order to stop that spam.

Thanks Libertas....I can indeed vouch for the fact that as vendors we suddenly got an avalanche of spam and we all requested action - which i have to say was taken very swiftly and whilst it's not absolutely there yet, shows SR is bloody responsive to it's users - I for one am very impressed.

100% true. They just kept coming and coming and coming. It was really bad for about four days there....

Some people are reporting minor issues with the captcha system. I've been testing it myself and it seems to be working fine on my end. Please ensure you're using the latest update for the Tor Browser Bundle (if applicable) and try unchecking the 'Enable JavaScript' box in the Options -> Content menu.
Please let me know if that solves anything.

perhaps but when stuff doesn't work, it puts people off. SR is lucky in a way that it has a captive market but the issues with the captcha on the login page and this new captcha don't really make the site particularly easy to use.. and it does take both vendors and buyers to make a market. Work on the "if you don't like it then leave" principle if you wish but that way lies redundancy.

I appreciate the points you're bringing up but this had to be implemented so as vendors could actually get regular messages; the scale of the spam was much worse than anything you might see here on the forums from time to time. It's the first day of implementation and I'm sure DPR will get it sorted out. We appreciate your patience on the matter.

Guys we are experiencing problems with the new captcha input for messaging. I have tried reloading page, new tab and re-logging to no effect. I will put an announcement on our vendor profile but I really need a bug free messaging system to reply to the messages we get from our customers every day.

I'm a buyer on SR not a vendor and i've been having this same problem cept' i get it when i log in and when trying to send a mssg to someone...
When i get on TOR and go to the SR site i put in my correct username W/no mistakes and my password again W/ no mistakes, then i proceed to type in the correct captcha but when i log on it sends me to login failed even though i put EVERYTHING correctly, i have to keep doing this 3-4 times just to log on it's really annoying esp. since im not making any mistakes when typing the shit. and same for messaging i put the correct captcha and it tells me its an invalid captcha i have to open a new mssg tab and try that like 3-4 times before it finally goes through, i hope this gets fixed ASAP cause its annoying.
