So I see now there are captcha's when you go to send a message on Silk Road. Well for me none of the capthca's are working.
So I logged back in..and the captcha to log in is not working. By "NOT WORKING" I mean by that I put the correct captca in and it still does not work!!
I tried many different times just to make sure.
I can't even send vendor support the problem...as you need a captcha.
Please help.

Same here please help us asap, being able to send messages is imperative to our businesses and to the buyers.

im having the same problem, and i need to answer few messages which is important, this could get us bad feedback from some pissed off customers when they see pm's being read and not replied

Just as a temporary measure to read PM's you can use the 'bulk reply' feature; messages read using this do not get marked as read unless you check the 'mark as read' box.

Was this just SR or the forums too? The other day I was having issues here in the forums it doing that. Seems to be working now though?

If I'm not mistaken this is because the captcha 'times out'?
I've had this problem for quite some time, logging in and when captcha was implemented for messages.
(On the SR site, not the forums)
Usually it works if the page is reloaded and the captcha is immediately entered.

I'd imagine this is a huuuge pain in the ass for vendors answering 100+messages per day..

I keep getting invalid captcha unless I hit back and enter in the new captcha.
Not sure why but it works for me
Fill out message, enter captcha, get error message, hit back, enter new captcha, and then sends.
Weird, but works, and at least I dont have 1000 messages for viagara hehe

ya...
although we needed some stops or blocked for spammers....had 30-40 viagra messages in one day this is terrible !!! does not work anyways, as yet and a real nightmare for busy vendorss..
can I at least suggest that vendors should not have this on their accounts ?
I mean you gotta be a dedicated spammer to spend $500 on a vendor account...correct ??

You have to refresh the page right before sending your message, then it'll work.

i actually have a solution for this, quoted from a post i made in the newbie forum

so i searched the forum and realized that others were having this same problem, but no one ever posted a response.
for some reason even though I enter the image verification correctly every time, it wouldn't work for the life of me, whether i listened to the letters or just clicked request another image
i FINALLY found what works
drag the letters (the graphics box) into a new tab, different letters will show up from whats on the reply site. use the letters from the new tab
should work now
