I have a bitcoin wallet - where the hell do i buy bitcoins - I know my next prob will be getting them from my wallet to SR but first where the hell can i genuinely purchase bitcoin to go into my wallet? Please advise - anyone - I can't start using this site til i figure it out so any help will be much appreciated.

Bitinstant.com (cash deposits are down till Monday though)
And sign up for mtgox.com
Go to bitinstant.com
Select local cash deposit to mtgox
Fill out the info click next
Next page print or screenshot you will need it if deposit gets lost
Click next
Put in your zipcode
Pick a moneygram location
Then print the payment slip
Go to store give them slip and cash
Money will be in your mtgox account under an hour usually under 5 minutes
Once the money is in your mtgox account you can buy and sell bitcoins you can even bid to try to get a better price
Things to know-
Bitinstant charges $4 plus 4% of whatever you deposit

wallet to SR is easy. bitinstant works well.
depending how much you intend to buy/sell - linking a bank account with coinbase.com is super easy.
multibit has a great wallet. bitcoinity.org/markets is the best site to track BTc price/value.

If you're in the US and you want <$400 use bitinstant. Keep in mind with this method you do have to put in your personal information, but bitcoins are legal and anonymous and they are untracable when you send them to your sr account, so no need to worry. Use the cash deposit -> btc address option. When you do this you have to go to a cvs/walmart with a moneygram phone, pick that up, slap in all the info bitinstant gives you and you're good to go. the cvs employees are rather clueless so you have to tell them you're paying a bill, and the fee is 0 dollars.

Check out blue sky traders for sure. super easy and efficient, not exactly quick, i waited for a week but it works and its anomonmys.I was put on the list for early trading and they email me the instructions when they said they would.Deposited 1200 usd in the evening when the bank was still open and the next morning it was in my e-wallet.
