Hey,
Noticed a few times over the past few days that when my session times out on SR and I need to log back in.
- The CAPTCHA image is only displaying the numeric section, the letters are not present.
This results in the CAPTCHA becoming very simple, just 2 or 3 digits...
Not tried logging in with the abbreviated image, and not sure if this is a bug, miscode, or just weird anomaly, but thought I should mention it...
Anyone else notice this?

Hi backflip,
The 3 character captcha issue is occurring as a result of the recent site hardening efforts and it is not a security risk so the cause of it is not being hunted down as a priority. If you try to log in with the short captcha you'll just get a 'login failed' error, but just refresh the page until a full length captcha becomes available. :)
