Title: bitcoin transition

Hey guys completely new to this. Just brought bitcoins and sent them from my bitcoin wallet on bitbargain to SR. How long does it take i have just deposited the funds and it hasnt shown up!! Help please worried!

heyy, welcome
it takes a while to go your wallet to bitbargin (i dont know what that is) and then to SR
each place you send your coins to the transaction has to make a certain number of confirmations, usually around 6-10
the more places you send them through, the longer it will take
usually you can see the coins in your wallet at 1 confirmation but you wont actually have the coins until all the necessary confirmations are complete. this stops double spending
on average it takes about 1-3 hours to get them into your SR account but i have heard it taking up to 24 before

i know it can make you nervous with your money just "out there" floating around. best advice is to fuck off and go do something
the refresh button is your enemy and only makes the time go slower

It usually takes a few hours.

can take anywhere from 1-5 days. usually around 2 (business days)

to transfer your bitcoins from your wallet to SR?
that is the slowest transaction i have ever heard

Yes, several days is too much, for me it usally takes 3-6 hours.

Bitcoin transfers to a Silk Road account do not take 1 - 5 days; this poster is talking about bank transfers to a Bitcoin exchange or company.
