Title: Login issues

So SR logs me on and off sporadically. What gives?

This issue should have been fixed days ago ... but it happened to me yesterday too.  I'll make sure to let the admin know this is still going on.

ibve also noticed the captcha changes from 3 numbers to the standard 5 letters 3 numbers. when its just 3 numbers it will say login failed. very weird.

You're right to treat anything out of the ordinary as suspicious but the 3 character captcha is simply a bug left over from site hardening measures; it isn't a security risk so finding the root cause of it isn't a priority right now. Nothing to worry about when it appears, just refresh 'til you get a full length captcha. :)

I have also found that I routinely get logged off after some random amount of time, even while using the SR as apposed to leaving myself logged on without any activity. I could understand a timeout when there is no activity, but having it happen in the middle of a session seems amiss. I also noticed the three character captcha, I just refresh and use the full one. Also always good to verify the URL ;-)

Some may find it a pain....it happens to me when in the middle of something as well...my mind tells me that it is a small price to pay to do what we do  :)

Ya with me too! And then when it goes to the log in page the captha will be like 3 characters long lol but it's still running much smoother then a few months back.

Glad to know the 3 digit Captcha issue isn't serious. I'll be honest, it scared the crap out of me when I kept getting logged out and confronted with an "impossible to decode" captcha.

All my phishing senses went off.
