Title: BTC resolution/pricing (vendor)
Post by: jameslink2 on June 01, 2013, 03:23 pm
When can we expect an update that changes the BTC resolution to less than .01?

As it stands, when I set a price the minimum setting is .01, that is (at the moment) $1.28 usd. To get the resolution down to the penny ($0.01) you would need BTC price resolution set to .0001.

I noticed this while adjusting my postage and handling charges. My cost went up $0.20 and I was going to adjust my postage and handling fee accordingly, however I had to add a full $1.28 to the cost.

I dont mind making an extra $1but I would prefer to give my customers the best price I can for both products and shipping.

The current setting needs to be adjusted.

Hi jameslink2,

I messaged DPR about this yesterday requesting that it be extended by one or two decimal places. It is up to him/her to decide how to proceed on this, but I'm sure we'll know in a few days what direction they will take.

just wondering;
have you tried to set your currency to USD on the settings-page?
I can set the shipping and product costs at a 0.01USD quantum, no problem.
The BTC-quantum, customers can see is another issue and prone to the problem you described.
