Title: Resolution Review
Post by: eleanorrobot on May 28, 2013, 07:00 pm
My resolution centre case is now "under review" for the first time ever. The vendor has not responded to my messages nor the dispute, so the only entries in the resolution centre are mine.

Firstly I set it to: "extend deadline" and at the end changed it to "100% refund" since the seller has not responded.

How long should it take for admins to decide what happens? It has been about three weeks since I sent the money and it was for benzos so I'm pretty anxious to get the bitcoins back and buy elsewhere, since bitcoins are difficult to buy in my country.

If I receive a 100% refund, will it be at the dollar amount? When I paid it was 1.12btc = $168, now 1.12btc is worth $140, will I have to take a $30 loss because of this failed transaction?

Thanks

Refund came through within an hour of being under review, but only received the Bitcoin value back, not the dollar amount. Oh well.

If the order is hedged, you receive the USD amount of the original order back in Bitcoin. If the order is unhedged, you simply receive back the Bitcoin that you paid.
