Title: Protocol for return of escrow when vendor is banned
Post by: Issuvi on May 28, 2013, 12:23 am

I have some BTC in escrow against vendor 'Good Drugs', who I understand has been banned within the last day.  Luckily, I refused this vendor's FE demand.  Is there anything I can (or should) do to facilitate the return of the escrow amount, or should I just wait?  I consulted the buyer's guide but couldn't find direction for this case.  I also searched the boards, but it's not clear that I used the right search string to find an easy answer.

As soon as the "resolve" link is available to you, click it.  This will send the order to the resolution center where you can request your refund!

Just to add to scout's post above, a refund received in the case where a vendor has been stripped of their vending privileges will not affect your refund rate.

really? it did affect mine negatively previously... although luckily it was only a "lotto" order so my refund rate is only .03%

How long ago was this, and was the refund given to you when the vendor had been stripped of their vending privileges or when they were still operating?

it went through resolution before they were stripped of vendor status. it was that one vendor that pretended to be two girls selling acid and they ended up sending printed paper. the username escapes me now. either way i don't care enough to pursue getting this fixed as it's only 0.03%

Then that's why it affected your refund rate, because they were still a vendor. Note that I said: "a refund received in the case where a vendor has been stripped of their vending privileges will not affect your refund rate."

Thread locked as OP has been given direction.
