Hey!
I accidentally clicked "get new bitcoin address" and I have a brand new one now.
I also have a transaction in the resolution centre and the vendor hasn't replied or even logged into their account in 10 days. The resolution comes in within the next 2 days.
If it requires a refund, will it be refunded to my NEW bitcoin address? The transaction won't just revert to the old one? If it did, would the bitcoins be stuck somewhere?
Thanks
ER

Hi eleanorrobot,
All refunds are applied directly to your Silk Road account (username) - they are not sent to a Bitcoin address, they are simply 'moved' internally. It utilises the same process as the "Send bitcoins to another member" feature.
In cases where you are transferring Bitcoin to you Silk Road deposit address from an external wallet system it is advisable to keep the same address until your Bitcoin has arrived. However, all addresses that you have used previously are unique to your account. If you ever have a problem and your Bitcoin don't arrive after 24 hours, get in touch with SR Support (the bottom right hand corner of your page) and they'll be able to manually push them through for you.
