Ok I know when a Buyer places an order into resolution it gives 5 days till Silk Road staff get involved, but Ive only entered resolution 1 or 2 days before order was to auto finalize
If you Place an order into Resolution when there is 7 days left. will it jump to 5 days left until Silk Road staff get involved or will it add 5 to the existing expiry date so 12 days in this case untill they intervene?
Thanks in advance

When you place it in Resolution, I believe it automatically adds 5 days to the finalization date so it will finalize 17 days after the order was placed.

I think scout meant 22 days after the order was placed rather than 17. ;) the 5 day extension is added to the original 17 day period. :)

Buyer does nothing. The order will automatically finalize and release payment to the seller 17 days after it was placed.

Just a quick update , you guys are wrong.
I just recently went through this first hand, before this I hadnt enterd resolution till a few days before expire (hoping it was going to show almost to the end)
In this last case I got bunk product and the vendor was refusing to answer me or even read messages (still is) so I wanted to enter resolution right away. It came available when there was 7 days till Auto Finalize.
I put it into resolution and right away it jumped to 5 days untill expiry. (SR gets involved)
Just thought I would update for anyone whose interested

Strange, that. I'll double check with an administrator in case we have been misinformed. Apologies if that is the case, Hendrix99, and thanks for letting us know.
Thread locked as resolved.
