Title: Changed my password to something really long, getting an error message...
Post by: spacyschiz on May 20, 2013, 08:50 pm
I changed my password to make it more secure and I made sure to post an exact copy of it in Notepad. Now when I'm trying to log in with it, I'm getting an error message. What's the deal?

I'm a vendor and I'd appreciate trying to get in again. Thanks.

Hi spacyschiz,

If the 'change password' form allowed you to change your password to its current length then the login form will allow you to log in with it. Have you made sure that there are no extra spaces at the start and the end of it (that aren't in the actual password, if any are included), and could you please post the error message that you're getting?

Managed to get in after all! Turns out that when I changed the password there must've been a typo. Took a bunch of tries but I managed to get in.

Thanks for the help.

Excellent, glad you're back in! And kudos on the strong password!

Locked as resolved.
