I just joined SR. Fairly new to the whole thing, but love the concept of a revolutionary digital market such as this. I attempted to buy Xanax powder from CostCo, but my order was cancelled by the vendor. :( It says on the buyer's guide that vendors make their decisions based on your order history and feedback. How am I to make a purchase if I'm fresh on the market and have no previous purchases?? Did I miss something, or is this a catch-22? Does it very from vendor to vendor? Costco has amazing deals, I would really like to get in on them before they undoubtedly dry up. Seasoned patrons, please help! All ideas welcome.

Some vendors aren't comfortable selling to buyers with no past transactions, while some are. You just have to find a vendor that doesn't mind selling to new users.

I was afraid of that. There are lots of other good deals for blotters and mol that I'm quite happy about, hopefully they will be kin d enough to give me a shot, and eventually I can buy from costco. I do not use PGP either. Can they tell/might that be a possible factor?
Thank you for the info. :)

You should absolutely 100% be using PGP for encrypting ALL sensitive information, ESPECIALLY your delivery details!!! :o

But it's SO hard and I iz teh noobz. Can the vendor tell though? And would that play a role in them not serving me?

May I ask why you don't use PGP?
I encourage you to learn it - for your own safety. The SR wiki is a good resource to utilize:

The vendor you are speaking of has right on his vendor profile the following:
- Buyers with low purchasing stats may have their orders canceled at our discretion without notification. If you have been on SR for less than 90 days or have total orders less than $1000 contact me before you order so you don’t waste either of our time. If you have less than $500 spent on SR don't even waste the time in messaging me.
That's why it was cancelled. It varies from vendor to vendor but reading their profiles in their entirety will stop this from happening again. And yes, not using PGP will deter some vendors from accepting your order. They usually state this as well on their vendor page. It isn't that hard to figure out and the added security is pretty important to most vendors/buyers. It would behoove you to take the half hour or so it takes to download, learn and set up PGP.

There are a lot of things about doing time in prison that are harder than learning PGP.

75% of the orders I receive aren't encrypted. I encourage PGP, but not for messages such as "Hey thanks. It arrived today."
That is just plain annoying. PGP should be used for your address or if you are talking to a vendor about ordering a large custom order.

when you send them a message encrypted using pgp software it does not look like a regular text message so yes they can tell. i don't think vendors care whether or not you send your information encrypted but you should! it will be your whereabouts compromised if something happens, not theirs. when i first joined here i was so excited to start getting products i said fuck it and just sent my address plain text for my first order. i had never heard of pgp and from first glance it looked impossible and i wanted drugs in my face asap lol i wish had just set up the software from day 1. it wasn't nearly as hard as i thought it would be and i'm no pc tech.
heres a link someone posted in the security section which includes step by step the process with pictures

if really want a dummies guide i know theres videos on youtube where they guide you through the whole download, install, and teach you encrypt and decrypt in about 5 minutes

Sorry guys and gals. We are so busy we dont have the time to deal with people who are new to SR and dont understand how it works. When you have spent $1000 on SR we will be more than happy to fill your orders.
Thanks for understanding,
C

Don't worry, you'll always be able to find a vendor that's willing to sell to a beginner

Fully understandable, Costco. Kudos for coming here and explaining the issue!

This is pretty clearly stated on Costco's vendor page. I do not understand why anyone would not read the vendor's page before ordering. In fact, I usually (but not always) will contact the vendor previous just to sus them out. But I am paranoid etc

Thanks for all the info guys. And yes, after further review, I see the info was posted on costcos page to begin with. You have all successfully convinced me to learn GPG as well. As I said this is all pretty new to me, but also quite exciting. I dream of revolution and this is the closest thing I've seen to it in my life time. I'm so pleased to find a caring and helpful community within this underground Bastille of personal liberty. Keep up the good work. And to Costco, I look forward to soon doing business. :) :) :) :)

Haha - you seem like you have a good heart. It's PGP! Try and make yourself seem professional to new buyers. PM them, get to the point, explain that you're a new buyer - and you'd like to make a purchase, and ask if they are happy to proceed with that. Most will be.
Good luck! Be safe!

It's PGP!
Actually, it's both! :P PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) is the predecessor of GPG (Gnu Privacy Guard). ;)

Woah! Thanks! Always something to learn. Sorry OP! Didn't mean to sound rude or arrogant, honest mistake. How are you going BTW? Find a vendor you're comfortable with?
-
Let me start by saying that I believe I have successfully learned to navigate GPG (actually not very hard at all :-[). Big major shout out to Pine for the help. ;) And I have also found a vendor known as T9 who will happily work with me! I will def be patronizing them, but would very much like to work with Googleyed. Their deals are INSANE. Just waiting to hear back on my inquiry of possible business; fingers crossed. Thanks again for the advice and info everyone! I feel like you pulled me back from the edge of a potentially hazardous, ill-conceived mistake. Much appreciated 8)

vendors can see stats and choose if there is a risk doing business with you
