CrystalShip sent me a express package that took two days to get to my house. He forgot to waive the singnautre, so when the mailman knocked on my door, and asked me to sign a slip for a package that had felony narcotics in it, I declined. After messaging CrystalShip this is his responce,
"You asked for express and USPS asking for a signature is always a risk with express because the USPS personnel sometimes fail to change it in the computer. Most people on SR have had to sign for a package like that at one time or another and the fact is, if you bothered to discuss the matter with an attorney, signing for a package does not make culpable for its contents nor does not signing for it absolve you of possession, IF they can show that after receiving it, you opened it, aware of the contraband within and made no effort to report it to authorities. I've certainly signed for my share of packages"
I am out $150 because of his mistake, and he refuses to take responsibility! No drugs, no money. Thanks crystalship!

You were right not to sign.
Have you finalised?

I think I replied to you in another thread about this but you should certainly take the item to resolution and state your case to the administrator. If you purchase something that the vendor states you won't have to sign for, but are then asked to sign for anyway, it is not your fault.

Hey lib
Does not state in his profile anything about signatures. I thought this was common knowledge, especially among responsible vendors. With the recent arrests of people via controlled delivers, now is even more important to be safe. CrystalShip is putting people at risk!
Some vendors do require a signature on orders; it is entirely up to the vendor whether they wish to do this or not and it is something that should be clarified with the vendor before ordering from them.
Both parties must take responsibility for the action and inaction that led to this occurring.

jesus, it's not like he didn't send you the shit. he sent it to you and you didn't sign. i think scammed is a bit of a harsh word. he said he'd send you something and he sent it. you got pissed that he sent it in a way that he could keep track of his cash. easy on the caps.

hahah noob, Hope they never do a controlled delivery on you. Deny deny deny NEVER SIGN!
You're calling me a noob because you have 2 posts more than I do, after starting this as an advice thread. Lulz. I may be a noob but I know better than to send 150$ drug shipments to my own door, genius.
-
That doesn't make him/her a scammer though. They sent you your order. Signing for something doesn't make you guilty. What the vendor said was right. I think you cut your losses instead of needlessly bumping your own thread

Exactly.
This person just realized they screwed up by not communicating properly and they're having a grade A freakout in front of their computer. Kind of hilarious, kind of sad. The moment you mail it back to sender, you need to realize that the sender *probably* wouldn't put their own address on the box. If cops wanted to bust you for possession, they could do so with or without your signature.
-
Yeah I wouldn't sign for something. Why do that??? :-\
-
Then don't put your real name on things either. (duh).
if you open a mailbox at mailboxes, etc. they have someone sign FOR you.
If you live in an apartment complex with onsite management, they sign it FOR you.
The signature is not what's gonna got you. The sending drugs to your own house however, will.
-
I'm a law grad. Studied enough cases about possession in crim law. Get over yourself. The responsibility for your safety goes both ways. Any person who isn't even expecting a package would sign for the fucking package and would say "Are you sure? I'm not expecting anything, weird." Of course if you order drugs to your home you need to make sure that you have no drugs or paraphernalia at the place.

So im out $150 because I choose freedom? This goes against everything SR is about.
That's not what I said. Please do not twist my words.
You are out $150 because you failed to clarify with the vendor whether or not your order would need to be signed before placing it. You are actually more at fault here than the vendor as you assume it would not require a signature instead of determining if that was indeed the case.
As I stated in my previous post, some vendors DO require a signature.

Hey stupid, try reading the fucking buyers guide. Your pretty WRONG about everything.
Idiot.
Never sign for any postal service and never make your customer do so either.
It wasn't advice. It was pretty factual. RTFM yourself. You'll learn a whole lot. Maybe even get acquainted with some case law and realize that you're a moron.
Also:
"Rent a virtual office address with us and we’ll accept all your mail and signed-for deliveries from any carrier. We’ll hold your post and parcels and forward to any address worldwide as frequently as you need."
-That's on the mailboxes, etc. site.
You're clearly in a really hilarious albeit retarded state of distress and you want to take it out on someone. Not my problem. Good luck with your 150 dollars. Best of luck with not being an annoying twat. Going through all your posts, I believe it's a lost cause; but you should never lose hope. ;)

DAMN ..... got up to get a large buttered popcorn EXTRA butter a box of good and plenty and a medium drink ....... came back and the entertainment was over ....

lookmomthedeepweb: You know what else buyers' guide says?
" Use a different address, such as a friend's house or P.O. box, that is unrelated to the one where your item will be kept. Once the item arrives, transport it discreetly to its final destination. Avoid abandoned buildings or any place where it would be suspicious to have mail delivered." ---- YOU DIDN'T DO THAT.
& " do not answer the door for the postman, let him leave it there and then transport it as described above." ---- YOU DIDN'T DO THAT EITHER
-----
Now you're all acting like the buyers' guide is your holy bible.
Get a mailboxes, etc. address and you never have to sign shit again. Problem solved. Funny that you called me stupid. Your logic is flawed.

Buyers guide says never sign for anything.
The Buyer's Guide is just that: a guide. In fact, the very section that states that you should not sign for a package also states the following:
http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Buyer%27s_Guide#Receiving_packages
If you follow these guidelines, your chances of being detected are minimal. In the event that you are detected, deny requesting the package. Anyone can send anyone else anything in the mail.
It is expressly stated that they are guidelines, not rules.
Vendors have their own policies on different issues (such as requiring new buyers to FE, minimum purchase amounts, signing for packages etc.), and as long as they do not violate the terms of the seller contract, they are allowed to do that. Silk Road is a free-market marketplace, and all participants in that marketplace need to do their due diligence before proceeding with purchases or sales.
Every buyer needs to employ a modicum of personal responsibility when they are making purchases here. That includes personal responsibility over FE'ing - which we advise against -, personal responsibility over signing for packages - which we advise against -, and personal responsibility over their security arrangements - which we provide a wide array of information about
It is up to the buyer whether or not they wish to deal with a vendor by determining if that vendor's policies and practices match up with the buyer's expectations.

The packages aren't being returned to the vendor.. They're full of drugs, they're not going to have their real return address on them. ???

Screaming SCAM when this is clearly just a packaging dispute puts OP's credibility through the floor. How could you trust or deal with someone who does that?
-
Thanks for the answer.
I wasnt even looking at it from that point. Someone is about to receive a package they arent expecting either....
-
From what I gather, It's apparently a meth vendor named infinitesource trying to talk shit about another meth vendor 'crystalship'... so he can call the other meth vendor a scammer in a different thread called " Re: Meth vendors and product reviews". Same exact writing style and obnoxious attitude. Watch out for Infinitesource I guess. Dude is apparently twacked out of his gourd.
I feel like I just unmasked the bad guy in a crap episode of Scooby Doo.
UNMASK THE MAIL BANSHEE!
Unbelievable! The All-caps Mail Banshee is actually the rogue meth dealer. etc.
Good fight, good night.
Love ya's.
Edited because typos.

Yo ....Aktion ...... if you have a minute can you give me a link to that thread ...... would be interested to see if you are correct ..... I like the way you analyzed the writing style ..... it's generally a dead give away ...... and sorry dude the popcorn is all gone lol

the title can be edited by the mod if i'm not mistaken. either way, you weren't scammed. sorry bro.

lookmomthedeepweb is a complete fucking dumbass - calling this a 'SCAM' when it's not could potentially ruin someone's business.
Hope you get fuck all in resolution, you deserve nothing. Plus my guess is you're about 16 and your mum answered the door called you down to sign for a package and you refused because she'd want to know what was in it. Loads of vendors on SR send delivery's that require a signature - get over it and stop whining like a fucking kid that you are.
-
Meh, believe what you want. I'm going to keep bumping this until I get a refund. If not, we will go to resolutions, and than I will leave bad feedback. Just keeping the title on the front page will show others hes a fucktard. Seems like most these dealers are fucktards.
Not sure why you brought this to the forums anyway ......at the very least it shouldn't have been listed as a scam ..... he DID send you your gear But all this has already been said so I won't go down that road. It should be VERY obvious that the vast majority of those who have responded don't quite see things with the same pair of glasses you seem to be peering through so continually bumping this post merely gives credibility to the vendor and makes you look like ....... well quite honestly ........ a whinny little bitch who just had his trikie stolen. You should probably just let this thread go to oblivion and take it to the resolution center where they will tell you the same thing you have been listening to on this thread.

what you deserve is a good spanking ...... you're starting t sound paranoid ....... so you think crystalship put all of the responders to this ridiculous thread up to making you look like a whinny little bitch. You have been doing a fine job of that all by yourself. Go to bed before your mom tells you lights out.
One last thing ...... somebody gave me a good Karma point for putting in my 2 cents worth thank you to who ever that was and a special thanks to mommies boy with out you this would not have been possible
-
Wrong, not that stupid fucktard who broke down and had a panic attack. Second, how can I prove this transaction is actually real? I'm not making this bullshit up.
I just checked his feedback looking for your 1/5 ....... where the fuck is it ...... last feedback is 3 hours old and it is 5/5 ....... you want to come on these forums and destroy a vendors reputation ...... crying about not being able to prove your transaction was /is legit .....post the feedback you disgusting little bitch. If I were a moderator I could give you about 2 seconds to prove this via feedback or I would kill this thread.

What about all the other threads full of people saying bump 50 times?
They are threads entitled "bump to 50". Your thread's title is "AVOID CRYSTALSHIP! SCAMMER! SCAMMER!". ???
You have no evidence of crystalship being a scammer. You have stated your position on the matter in your first few posts in the thread, been given the reasons why the statements you are making are incorrect, and are simply bumping this thread for the sake of it.
Thread locked, and spam messages pruned.
