Title: I got a item in the Resolution Center
Post by: tracy on May 17, 2013, 03:03 pm
Hello all, a vendor attempted to scam me on something I bought.  They kept asking me to FE but I stayed in escrow and the vendor ended up getting banned just hours after I made a transaction  :-\.  I was wondering how long does it usually take for SR support to process refunds. So far I've been waiting over 48 hours. Any help is much appreciated, got alot of cash tied up.

Same exact situation as me brother, i placed a larger than usual order, less than a day later, vendor was banned.
Strangely enough, the day after that, the order was marked "in transit" and the 'resolve' > refund won't become available
for another 8 days (at time of purchase) i already opened a support ticket and asked SR if they could give me an earlier
refund based on the circumstance that the vendor was banned.

They (SR) responded a couple days later and said that i would just have to wait until the 8 days passed, i am not sure if my order is actually on its way or not but i have a lot of money tied up and there is nothing i can do about it for another week. I am confident that if/when my order never shows up and after the 8 days have passed i will get the full refund (there's no reason why i wouldn't) but it sucks to have to wait.

Hi folks,

Yes, in this situation you simply have to wait until the 'resolve' button appears and you can then take it to resolution and request a 100% refund. In cases where the vendor has been banned, a refund should not affect your stats.

Please mention this in the resolution center to ensure the administrator does not forget, and you can back it up with the SR Wiki here:

Locking as resolved.
