My B.C. Is still there.. and I changed the password.. and i shouldn't be having any problems and nobody else should be into my account.. im back in and just change my password.. bc is stil there.  I dont guess an admin will unlock this so I can get my express shipment finished.  I already know nobody is gonna be able to help but well atleast I tried.. now I gotta sit for three days cause of a timeout im guessing.. cause nobody has stole my coin and I only tried my pin twice.. and.. I changed it today right before I went and got my coin.. haha.. well if anyone will tell me some advice let me know, cause this blows.. its thursday, now instead of maybe a happy monday I gotta wait till thurs?  Dread Pirate Roberts u can call me dude if thats what it takes to help me out here,... sigh.  Well hollar at me somebody.. my first time with this all was so stressful and I got it and me and my girl are really needing a better time than we have had if u know wht I mean.. thanks for ur time

Confused ... are you saying you did enter the PIN 5 times so that now it shows an amount of time you'll need to wait to reset it?

It happened exactly like this
I fill out the ship form with express ship
Entering my addy I took a few minutes - its my first time im nervous
I hit confirm
I get a timeout on the s.r. server
I do it again and enter my pin - which i had just changed 4 or five hours ago
Now it says its wrong I got two attempts left
Im like wtf - I enter it all again
I got one attempt left?
I back out of coarse and go to change my pin
It locks me out... this is such a bummer I had the timing for this week perfect :((((((

I guess nobody is gonna talk to me about this... 58 hours left, jesus.  I really hope this is the last time this happens.  A question, if anyone will answer... is there a specific way to go about pins, cause I put up a rediculous number 10 + characters...   I dont know if sr didn't register my change, cause I have changed it four times and its worked each time I changed it... I dont know why suddenly on my very first order this bit of bad karma comes down on my head.  Well somebody talk to me if they will, plz.. thanks

Hi Amaranth,

Apologies, but we can't be online 24/7. The only way that your PIN could have been locked is if you entered it incorrectly 5 times. Again, that is the ONLY way a PIN can be locked. If the page when you changed your PIN didn't load then yes, it is possible that the PIN change was not completed.

Please see the SR Wiki here:

Long PINs are recommended by Silk Road, but please make sure you do not forget it. Simple things like using CAPS, spaces or symbols in the wrong places are the most common reasons for people locking their PIN.

Thread locked as resolved.
