Hello!
I'm going to be the spokesperson for a new Swedish Vendor by the name Burning Babylon. ( http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/user/bb9a215445 )
We will primarily sell Hash imported from Morocco of standard and above quality, we get new branded shipments regularly so the quality will be entirely consistent for each brand and that will be reflected in the listings.
We're going to start out locally in Sweden at first to get a handle on the packaging with mylar bags. We're planning on ordering some Heat Seal Foil from plutopete ( http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/item/3e10560aef ) later this month and combine it with the Mylar Bags and various other things. When we feel we have enough experience with packaging we will open up for all EU countries as well. We will probably open up for international customers at some point but we currently have a lot of things to do so that will have to wait a couple of weeks as it looks now.
As I'll be restricted to the Newbie Forum Section for a while I'll come back to this thread occasionally when there's any major updates, like putting up new items and such. Our first products will come up in the coming days. :)

So we put up our first two listings, for Swedes only:

We've been analyzing the prices for a few days and we'll see how this goes, we'll stay domestic only for now. We deal in fairly large quantities outside Silk Road so we're hoping we will be able to do the same here.
On a random note it's funny how there's currently 413 hash listings in total on Silk Road and of those 50+ are situated in Sweden. :P

Posting a small update with random thoughts and plans for the future. I'll divide it up into two sections where the first might interesting for everyone who has bought or is planning to buy from us - and a second section which goes a bit deeper which is mostly for my own context and planning for the future.
We had a small sample run called "3x1g Standard Plus Sample" which was a sample of one gram each for three different types of hash we had available, namely: Cavalli ( http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/item/f1b63fef30 ), Apple ( http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/item/d36f9afa9b ) and Standard Plus NoName ( http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/item/790b7c701b ). We set the price at almost our bulk price and while it did sell moderately well there was only one customer who actually bought anything else than the sample alone. I have three theories for why this could be the case. The first one is most people in Sweden probably simply do not want to order very large quantities, and would probably be fine with ordering 0.5 to 2 grams every order if they could. The second theory is they were never interested in ordering anything from us to begin with, and only ordered because of the cheap price which did not reflect the normal price if ordering five grams or more normally. This could also mean the people who actually wanted to try the samples never got a chance to do so because it got depleted by people just wanting it cheap. The third theory is the quality, price and possibly reputation doesn't stand up to the other vendors yet regardless the samples - now this is very hard to tell as most people will give a 5/5 on all orders if it's packaged well enough and the product works as intended. How the product itself rates to the competition here in Sweden I still have no idea whatsoever as I've seen no customer compare it yet.
I've noticed absolutely no one orders any listing above five grams, which currently includes a 25 gram and 50 gram listing which gets cheaper as the quantity goes up. This is understandable from a customer view but in "the real world" where we operated (and still do) before Silk Road bulk sales of 100 gram hash cakes accounted for 90% of all sales (where the rest was samples). We're evaluating if we should just skip all our major listings and go for five gram listings as max and create new ones with even less per listing as to get more customers overall. Silk Road and it's user base seems to operate almost entirely on the customer level and there's not enough overhead to attract the mid-grade dealers.
In about 7-14 days time we will most likely get hold of a fairly low quality cannabis-type which we plan to sell for significantly cheaper than anyone else domestically at the moment, which would end up around 0.36 BTC for 5 grams. As I mentioned it won't stand a chance quality-wise against the competition, but for the price domestically nothing will be able to beat it. We will consider it a trial run which could potentially end in failure as the quality might not stand up to customer demands, but if it does we will have the potential to sell quite large supplies of it. We will also sell some type of edible which will be based on this cannabis-type which we know will work as we've tried it on shorter runs before, if the quality of the cannabis itself isn't good enough for the market we will turn all of into edibles instead as that removes its current drawbacks.

Exactly one month ago we registered now. :)
Time for some random reflections and thoughts again as it makes it easier keeping track of things. First thing that comes to mind is our current rate of selling is not quick enough, and this is most likely because of our mindset coming into this as bulk sellers. We're planning on fixing this by removing all listings above 5 grams and add one listing for 1 gram for each type of Hash that is missing. For bulk orders we will create a rule system which will give various types of discounts based on if the order is more than 25, 50, 75 or 100 grams for Custom Orders. As I mentioned in my previous post ( http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=160527.msg1207289#msg1207289 ) we're progressing with our plans with introducing cannabis, although it's been delayed slightly. I've registered an account on both BlackMarket Reloaded and Atlantis today as well but I suspect one is not allowed to link them here, but if anyone wonders if it's an imposter or not at a later date.
We've had some orders which haven't arrived yet although it's been almost two weeks and we haven't heard from the buyers at all, since all our orders are domestic they should ideally arrive extremely fast and have no risk at all of getting caught basically which makes this very strange. When posting and doing research for my thread Mail Systems around the World ( http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=172854.msg1240495#msg1240495 ) I found a worrisome article ( http://arbetarbladet.se/nyheter/gavle/1.2501033-drogerna-kommer-med-posten ) which went into detail how the police in Sweden by being tipped off by employees started profiling specific packages by how they looked like. It would be very unlikely the police have started profiling our packages and intercepting them but either way I'm going to make it a priority to randomize our sizes and types of letters/parcels we use to send our product, just in case.
On a random note I noticed how a domestic vendor here in Sweden (not naming anyone specific) just changed one of their existing listings when they got a new batch of that product which was vastly different from their previous one. I find it very interesting someone would go to this length to keep the feedback on that product although it's not the same one at all, he claimed it was better than the previous batch but that is entirely besides the point - a new batch means a new product as far as I see it unless it's almost identical.

I've heard that Hash imported from Morocco is usually cut with random shit. I know the butt hash is cut with a little something. Plastic, cleaning chemicals, or something like opium. Any thoughts about this or proof your hash is pure?

Only way to be sure would be testing it, but I've had no luck finding any ways of doing that as no one seems to know in my thread Drug Purity Testing for Vendors - http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=169986.msg1212902 As far as I'm aware there's no real way of testing it in the Netherlands either as their drug testing agency ( http://www.drugs-test.nl/ ) does not currently accept Hash for some reason. The next best thing would be customers rating our product versus what the other domestic vendors are offering here in Sweden, I might actually try and co-ordinate some kind of thread for that the coming week. 8)

So I'm sure there are some who might do this, but with at least 2,000 metric tons per year I'm also fairly sure most of it is legit.
I know a bit how the importation process works for our contact, but this would definitely come back and bite me at some point in the future so I will stay silent on this matter until it gets legalized sometime in the future. What I can say though is the big players in the the region (which we're indirectly buying from) will use a specific stamp for each batch, and then never use that again in the future so one know that specific batch is consistent overall. :)

Starting off we're going to be away for one week starting from 2013-06-28, we will accept orders up to that date but we're going into vacation mode after that. We are testing the waters with putting up a new cheap Cannabis type and seeing how people like the price/quality, depending on the feedback we see on the product after returning we will decide then if we will continue with it or just drop it completely. 03) None that effect the smell of the package, but it will not be possible to feel the product itself through the package and if it opens by mistake it will be no way of telling what it is without opening all of it.
04) If we haven't specified a product standard in our listing we don't have that much more information to go on except to compare it to our own previous types of products. If we for example write Standard Plus it means it's marginally better than the Standard we normally have in, but it's difficult to tell how well it compares with our competitors without testing their variants.

We're back on track with some new developments this week. We've re hauled our entire pricing and listings system so it only lists 5 gram products and for anything less/more one will have to contact us directly. We now have pictures for all our current products. We ran out of our product "5 gram - Marockansk Standard Plus" 2013-07-09 and we're pondering if we should just delete the listing or just update the quantity when we get a new batch which is very similar in a week or two. Most vendors seem to pick the second route to retain their feedback but it would most likely be a bit hypocritical of us to go with this route seeing as how we've criticized other vendors for doing this. Our product "5 gram - Mexikanskt Bush Weed" seems to work well enough to keep it, at its price its one of the best types of Weed suited for edibles and we're going to try and progress on that aspect the coming two weeks. In about 6 to 8 weeks we will be able to sell our locally grown Cannabis Product which is going to be able to compete in the top for the domestic market.
We have plans for a branching of Burning Babylon as can be seen in the thread Vendor Thread - Oneiros Distribution: dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=181563.msg1318708 I somehow managed to mislay my passwords for the Silk Road Forums and BlackMarket Reloaded Forums and I'm not likely to ever regain those exact accounts. Since I still have everything else intact as the Silk Road account itself and the PGP Key and so on I'll just progress onwards and do all aspects mentioned in the Oneiros Distribution thread on this account as well. Not being able to access the other Forum Account made me rethink some of my security procedures and I've made sure this won't happen again in the future by improving my Password List significantly among other things.
I'm most likely going to create some Swedish Guides here in the forums as I'm getting more private questions about various subjects as for example how PGP works exactly. We previously had a combination of the Foil from plutopete along with the Mylar which we're using now, however we're revamping our methods slightly and will as soon as possible offer some customized Shipping Options so those who want the extra Foil Layer can get it instead of only the Mylar as it's been for this week. The Mylar alone is considerably better than just plastic though so I don't agree they can be compared very well in the same setting. In the end it's a Domestic Shipment and they usually arrive in one or two days unless someone messes up.
What's keeping us from implementing new changes at the moment is we have no reliable way of reforming our Hash Product at the moment, if anyone has any good tips on changing its shape please post in the thread Best Ways of Forming Hash: http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=169901.msg1212745 :)

On another note I'm going to improve my current listings by adding an additional two bonus rates to a total of six instead of four, some more miscellaneous details and detailed reviews corresponding to the right product. We've decided to increase the price of the shipping option "Standard Plus" from 10 kr to 16 kr mostly to cover the extra time it takes to package the products. This could be solved if we could find a way to reform the Hash but until we're able to do that we can't use low profile containers under 1 cm in height or less. We've temporarily run out of our product "Marockansk Standard Plus "CAVALLI"" and "Marockansk Standard Plus "Apple"" - we expect we can still get a couple hundred grams of the same batch the coming days until it's gone for good. We've been progressing very slowly on other projects as of late mostly due to a lengthy backup process. The project which is closest to completion is our Cannabis Edibles, the only thing preventing us at the moment is figuring out how to best package them to prevent them from making any noises when shaking the package. Other than that it's just been small improvements in general to the Silk Road Profile Layout and our structure for the products, since I don't have anything else to post about specific to Burning Babylon I'll just post a backup of the profile and the presentation of a product below:

Happened quite a bit since last time, to begin with we've run out of both "Marockansk Standard Plus "CAVALLI"" and "Marockansk Standard Plus "Apple"", we got a section in our Presentation for Ceased Products. We had a trial run of our new Edible which we call "Cannabis Coconut Squares" ( Temporarily out of Stock, but can otherwise be found at: http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/item/0485b1d6e1 ), we sold out fairly quickly and we're waiting for feedback on how potent they are, we're making a secondary batch which will be for sale on saturday/sunday. This has the potential to be our Flag Ship Product as we have full control of the baking process and can adjust quite a lot. We've also gotten a new Hash type which we've named "5 gram - Marockansk Standard Plus "No Name 2.0"" which can be accessed at: http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/item/6a0514cef0 - we've given it Inventory Class 2 which means it's possible to get a 30 % discount if ordering 75-100 grams of it in a Custom Order.
We've been focusing a lot of streamlining our Presentation even more in the hopes of answering as many questions as possible, it seems to have worked quite well so far. A couple things which are going to get added to the Presentation very soon:
* Custom Shipping Prices, so far we've had the same Shipping Prices regardless of quantity shipped but this will change with various Shipping Price Classes depending on the amount and type. The price for the normal listings will stay the same as before and the new system will clearly be described.
* Letter Size: This section will be updated to reflect some larger dimensions, as it turns out there's no extra charge for letters unless the short side is 250 mm or longer. This will make it significantly easier for us to ship our edibles as they take up quite a lot of space.
Other than that we're considering if we should implement some kind of Order Verification as has been discussed in the thread Customers asking for Vendor Shipping Confirmation: http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=193416 - A sub-concept I didn't mention in the thread would be taking a photograph of the packaged product before and include that in the Order Confirmation, will ponder if it's viable or not. We're going to try and improve our packaging process significantly so we can store pre-made sizes and include things like Name, Batch/Bar Code and Weight on each ( Mylar/MBB ) Package.

We registered on Silk Road 2013-05-16 so today 2013-08-16 is roughly three months ago since we registered ( although we didn't start to sell right away ). :)
We've had some minor problems the last two weeks, most notably some packages getting stuck in the buyers mail drops where some have even had to collect them at a later time. This is very unfortunate as we've stayed at least 3 mm within the suggested max dimension of 30 mm height but the reality is it seems many older mail drops here in Sweden do not conform to these standards or deviate over time, so we simply have to adapt to this and start using lower packages instead. We also had a minor problem with a package which apparently did not have enough postage, I'm pretty much 100 % sure they've all had so but some cases have been close calls as one letter weighed 19.60 grams when the limit for two stamps goes for anything over 20 grams. Once again the reality is the scales used by Posten are not as accurate as ours and it's very likely that's why we got trouble, so in the future we will simply put on an extra stamp if we don't have a single full gram to spare for the 20 gram limit and two grams to spare for the 100 gram limit.
Other than that we're planning on lowering our prices across the board basically, we're pretty sure we can handle a bit higher quantity of orders by now. The exception will be our product 2x Cannabis Coconut Squares which hasn't sold very well so we will figure out some way of making them smaller and viable to ship within the European Union without the shipping costing almost more than the product itself. We're most likely going to structure on our Shipping Options over the weekend so any new system will likely be noticeable next week. :P

So time to write down some thoughts on upcoming events. There will be a restructuring on how we operate as a Vendor in the coming months ahead, this will either result in us working better or deciding to take a break and focus solely on Oneiros Distribution until things would get sorted out. Anyway we've joined the 300+ orders club and out of those I would say only five have qualified as having any significant type of problem that we manually had to fix in terms of reshipping. We are still planning on opening up for European Union Orders and we're fairly certain our Policy on Disputes would not stand a chance against the influx of scammers we would most likely get, so we're planning on keeping the current Dispute Policy "almost" the same for Domestically within Sweden and create a separate system which differs quite a bit from the Domestic Dispute Policy.
We're pondering if we should significantly reduce our Prices once again and just ignore the bulk market and focus entirely on the end-customers, even when we get a bulk order the margins are so low there's not much point in doing it to be honest - the market is most likely simply too small online to be able to successfully deal with bulk domestically. We've gotten our Packaging Methods up to speed so we could handle the extra amount of orders, the only question currently is how we would be able to dispatch them without arousing suspicion - it's kind of bad enough as it is currently if we can't get a better method.
The thing that most likely matters is the propagation of the existence of Silk Road and how to use it, so most likely we will at some point start including CDs or DVDs which include very detailed information on how to access and use Silk Road in general - for some ground work on how it could be done see the thread Selling Preloaded Silk Road Accounts Allowed?: http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=165366 ( also small note, a good way of doing it would be something similar to http://www.trybtc.com )
Also writing down for reference SweExpress ( biggest Swedish Hash Vendor ) will be on a vacation between 2013-09-14 to 2013-09-21 - will be keeping note if there's an influx of Buyers during that period or if they all flock to other Vendors providing similar ( high ) quality during that period.

I forgot to mention in my previous post we ran out of our Product "5 gram - Marockansk Standard Plus [Limiterad]" 2013-09-05. Today ( 2013-09-16 ) we ran out of our Product "2x Cannabis Coconut Squares", while it was successful in the sense it was fairly powerful it unfortunately wasn't that popular and the bigger problem was its weight and shipping costs. So we've decided to end the Product Line here, however we're planning on selling the Cannabis Butter used directly as that would reduce Shipping Costs significantly and probably be better for the Customer as well as they get to do create anything they want - we will most likely create a thread with Recipes later. :)
Other than that there's small continuous improvements under the hood which are too numerous to list as new ones get added constantly, the most noticeable and recent change has we've decided to only provide two different Types of Quantity Discount. We previously had six different Limits but this wasn't very effective when creating Custom Orders and there would always be Buyers asking if they could get the higher Discount for smaller Amounts etc.. Also a pretty major addition although it was a couple of weeks ago by now is we've added Higher Resolution Pictures ( 1024x768 ) on all our Listings through the WalMart ImagePro Service: http://walmart5natwoa3w.onion/app/imagepro
A short Warning in Advance we will probably only be able to Process Orders up to Thursday, meaning any Order on Friday will most likely be sent on Monday - will Update the Profile to Reflect this tomorrow.

So we decided to drop the WalMart ImagePro Service and switch to TorImages ( http://torimagesbp2vt3u.onion ), in the process we upgraded the images to the resolution 1280x960. Now TorImages is significantly worse on many fronts but it's stable and that's what it comes down to in the end.
Recently we've had numerous Buyers ask for either free samples or much lower ones than we're currently offering. Our Current System is to offer listings of two grams for a markup for 25 % for the extra work, but this hasn't worked too well as it's not treated as a Sample Listing. We will try an experiment starting as of today which means any Buyer can only buy our listings of 2 gram once per order - anything more than that or an attempt to order with the same username again will lead to an cancelled order. In addition instead of adding a 25 % charge for extra work we will reduce the price by 10 %. If it turns out this offer gets abused ( which I unfortunately suspect it will ) we will return to the old structure of applying a 25 % extra charge for dealing with small amounts.

So here's our current pressing matters:
* We have some orders who are pre-packaged and ready to go - at this state sending them out would be a 100 % loss for us for no gain whatsoever. Possible solution would be including a message in the shipments explaining what's happened and including a link to our new Profile over at Sheep Marketplace and/or BlackMarket Reloaded. Would by definition of the Rules be grounds for suspension of Vendor Privileges but seeing as there's no site any longer we will ponder this Scenario tomorrow.
* We've lost significant amount of Money and while we do have a backup Wallet through the Settings it seems DPR did not have any fail safe whatsoever in mind. It was stupid of us to trust Silk Road over our own judgement but it's ultimately just a very expensive lesson we will have to take away from this.
