My account has been hacked/compromised, do not release escrow.

This is worrying it seems to be happening to a lot of vendors. Was it a pshing scam?

It seems that way since there have been at least 3 vendors compromised and there are threads about strange messages that many of them received. I would imagine that diligence is especially important for vendors but it's a lesson for all of us. Don't trust anything you receive in message or email form that asks you for account information. And the log-in NEVER requires your pin.

Yes, this vendor also fell victim to the phishing scam that was doing the rounds. It is nothing to worry about - Silk Road is completely secure; it is user error that is causing all of these issues.
Silk Road will NEVER ask you for your PIN, and any changes to the site URL will be stated and signed by DPR with his public PGP key, which should be saved by everyone from the link below:

Well i cant fault you for thinking that, I was quite late in announcing the situation mainly because i had been trying to log onto sr for a couple of days and assumed that the site was still having problems until the penny dropped, I am hoping to get my account back and assuming that whoever took control of my account never cracked my pin then all funds will be returned to customers,
Jumping the bandwagon as you put it would be a very risky thing to do for such a short term gain and i don't think many vendors would even consider doing something so stupid....I hope.

It happened to my account also. I was not phished either.

+1 to crystalmethod, I've ordered from this bloke in the past, NoAddedSugar isn't my SR username by the way. He's a legit vendor, I have faith in him.
