Ok, so I have always used tormail....of course. But now tormail sucks. Is there a safe alternative thats similar and anonymous like tormail?

Countermail.com is run on the fly where nothing is actually stored on their servers. Go do some research on them beforehand though. However I use them and seem Tor friendly also.

Tormail is not safe by default, nor is Countermail nor any other mail service that you may wish to use. Do not get lulled into a false sense of security when communicating via these methods. ALWAYS use PGP to encrypt your messages, and only access your email provider through Tor if using them for business that is in any way illegal.

Something important to keep in mind imo is never trust your email provider, either with your IP address or with any information that might lead to identify you...
Always encrypt your messages, write/check it at various times, ask others to send you encrypted messages...
tormail might pretty much be a honeypot, as well as any other 'security conscious' email provider. And even if it wasn't, sometimes an operator will have no choice but to give the information s/he has about you... or the server can be compromised...
Encrypt everything, and always use tor.
