Hey everyone
So business has finally picked up as more and more buyers are giving me a chance and choosing me as their new marijuana vendor =). As such I wanted to give a thank you to the SR community. How? Well how does a free 3.5 grams sound?? Winner of this riddle/scavenger hunt will have to pay for shipping however - any option can be chosen. US players will get the BTC equivalent of $20 (sorry!) or 3.5 g but sent with the compressed buds option.
Rules:
1. Only one winner
2. You must PM me the link if you are in the US and want $20 - thread posting does not count
3. Winner will be determined by chronological order based on PM time stamp
4. If you are outside the US you must purchase the listing to be the winner - as such you must have BTC to purchase it. The link can be held in waiting for 5 hours or so to allow you to get the BTC. In such case you must PM me the link indicating your intent to pay later.
5. If someone purchases it before I get to read your PM then you do not win - MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE BTC READY IF YOU ARE GOING TO PLAY. Compressed option would be 0.04 BTC.
I think that covers pretty much all of it =). Each time we play the current puzzle will be at the top, with archived ones at the bottom. I will be releasing one clue every day. Good luck to everyone who plays! I will try and post the final clue around 12-6 am UTC. I will also update which day it is going to be.

I'll be posting more hints every 12-24 hours if still unsolved =)
Most of them are fairly easy...8-9 is probably the only true difficult one I know. But then again, where your from, your gender, and general life experiences can make easier ones harder and harder ones easier =)
But yea will provide more hints soon! Just want to give people a try and see if they can get it!

Actually my LAST edit was made at 8:43; I had edited it three times before, first to say "Never mind, I solved it," then to say I would put my BTC address in the order field, then to say I actually didn't have the funds and how should I prove it, then to say I could PM proof, then to say I did PM proof. My first edit was immediately after the original post as I had figured it out by the time the post went through.

However I did not receive proof that you solved it until after receiving the PM from Genghar. Perhaps next time just make a new reply so I can actually see the time stamp and when you solved it.
While I would like to award you with the prize, as it is totally possible you solved it first, I just don't have the evidence to support that and have already sent the BTC to Genghar.
All I can see is that at 8:32 you said you were stumped and at 8:43 you made an edit and the post now shows that you got it. I got the PM from you at 8:56.
Genghar sent me the link and his btc address at 8:40 via PM.
Sorry your TOR was acting up, but that is beyond my control. If you really want I can send you the BTC, but it would be out of charity as from available evidence you were not the winner (although I admit it is totally possible that you did solve it first and your TOR was acting up...I just can't allow that to justify the 13 minute time difference between yours and Genghar answers)

with respect to forum etiquette, this is generally frowned upon for creating clutter. The only reason I made so many edits is that you were unresponsive after my initial one; if you were watching the thread, you would have seen the edit was made long before 8:40.
Sorry your TOR was acting up, but that is beyond my control. If you really want I can send you the BTC, but it would be out of charity as from available evidence you were not the winner (although I admit it is totally possible that you did solve it first and your TOR was acting up...I just can't allow that to justify the 13 minute time difference between yours and Genghar answers)
Really, you should send me the BTC because in the real business world when you run a promotion of this kind and there is any kind of question, the only decent thing to do is award both winners the prizes, especially since you didn't specify any vector for providing acceptable proof. If you had just said "PM me the proof" initially there would be no question, as I would have done that immediately. As it was I was waiting for you to say that a PM would be acceptable proof, and meanwhile someone else goes ahead and does it. You can see why I'd be perturbed after spending a not insignificant portion of my valuable time working at this puzzle and then wading through the bullshit to claim the prize which I actually deserve. I certainly wouldn't want to deprive Genghar of anything, I just hope you see the only decent thing to do is award both prizes; you were willing to accept the loss of a slice anyway, for which in my neck $60 is the nominal expected rate.

Me: There is no question. His PM was before yours. 13 minutes before. I did not specify a vector because when you get to the page you can purchase it, which was how it was setup. Clearly if you are not purchasing it I think the obvious thing to do would be is PM. Like Grengar and you both figured out, it should be common sense.

Let me know what other issues you want addressed. End of the day I had the link messaged to me at 8:40. Your message with the link came at 8:53.
It's not the money for me here, it's the principle. I think it was obvious what should be done, you think it wasn't. Sure I can just send you the BTC and get it over with
but if I am truly in the wrong I want to know. If people say I am, I will apologize and send you the BTC. It is a learning experience for me here, what do people think.

Regarding the issue, I am not convinced I am at fault. However you did solve the puzzle and it is possible that you completed it before and your browser delayed you from sending the answer.
Next time I will be more clear. I think this is more then fair.

All I have to go by is what you wrote in the OP. You're an unknown entity; I don't even know if you know about PM's or whether you would accept something other than ordering the item as proof. Bottom line, I did what the OP asked for, and the only reason I didn't win is a result of the technology you used to conduct the contest. I could give a shit who voted for what; the fact that you created the poll and filled the OP with your point of view in exclusion to mine means that to generalize from those results would be asinine. No one is disputing that his PM arrived much earlier than mine, but nowhere did you ever say "whoever PMs me first wins." In fact, you never said that the first person to solve it would be the winner, just that if you solved it you would get the prize. I'm not blaming you for browser slowness, obviously that's no one's fault. The point is that no successful business running such a promotion would deny me my prize even after fulfilling the stated conditions, on a literal technicality. It's not about the money for me, either. I only want your BTC if you acknowledge it's the fair thing to do, which it objectively is. I solved the puzzle, without any help or extra clues, before everyone else, those were the conditions, I met them, I am the winner. QED

Although...in my opinion, it was completely pointless lol. The effort & time spent replying back and forth could have earned 60$ at a minimum wage job. haha but props for being so professional.

goddammit my tries to find the solution for "six" are reaching an absurd complexity, i bet its something blatantly obvious and i think way too complex (like those tests that most kids can solve instantly, but almost no adults would be able to solve it, because it needs such a simple approach)

AHHHHHH, some one solve it and free me from this curse, cant get it off my mind, i need to know what i have wrong to be able to live in peace again! I probably have tried well over 100 addresses, like every combination there is for answers i have 2 options that could be the solution (well mostly 1 option way more likely than the other, but since doesn't work need to try at least)

i fucking came in my pants after i saw the price instead of "this item is not listed", no joke i was like totally out of ideas but then suddenly realized that there was two versions of that "euphemism[don't mean whether poo or pee first]" and i only thought about the wrong one all this time ;D

The chars #5 and #6 was what got me stuck for so long, i forgot that there was another version of that euphemism (i know it rather as: number two = taking a poo, number three = taking a pee/wee [so both rhyme instead in order of "appearance"])
Because I didn't know where my mistake was came up with absurdly complicated solutions for many of the questions/hints. (you don't even wanna know!)

Haha yea the original was close to impossible, but I wanted it to last a little longer then the first time. Plus if you get 9/10 you could try and guess the last few.

Between D&G, multiplied by 2. NEW HINT: look down when you type
FF: F is between D and G on the keyboard. F multiplied by 2 is two Fs - FF.
12: F is the 6th letter of the alphabet, multiplied by 2 is 12.
30: F in hex is 15, multiplied by 2 is 30.
Character #3 and 4
Learn in kindergarten - A
BC: ABCs, or the alphabet - A, then "BC".
Character #5 and 6
Restroom - NEW HINT: Euphemism
12: Number 1 and Number 2, restroom euphemisms.
Alternate: Assumed "WC" (water closet) was a two character euphemism, but 'w' doesn't seem to fit with the character set used in the item IDs
Character #7
Sex - NEW HINT: Think latin
6: Prefix form for 6, similar to Hex (8). i.e. Sextuplet.

3 and 4 is ? Thought it was ad but they don't really learn that in Kindergarden right? So there is an A to go by and when matched up to every other letter in the alphabet it just doesn't work.
5 and 6 is maybe 21 according to your clues or maybe pp

8 and 9 I thought was 92 since that guy died at 92 years old then after research he had a nickname like 4e
character 10 is 0 but who the hell knows where that 6 fits in there

I had come up with so many answers for the restroom one and didnt think of 21.... smh had the rest of em in my list of possibilities that I tried all combo's of. Next time maybe.

yeah this is the one that got me - so does this mean there are no w's in item ids? I guess I assumed every character was fair game but now that I look it only seems to be hex characters. wow that could have saved me a lot of time and stupidity
