Title: Missing bitcoins, hacked? Help please.
Post by: uklad76 on May 07, 2013, 12:29 pm
OK, I sent 3.4 bitcoins to my SR wallet a few hours ago. Within minutes of the transaction reaching 7 confirmations on blockchain, another transaction appeared, sending the coins to another address.

Please help me, I'm confused and after being on the road 8 months, i've never seen this.

I really think the coins hit my sr account and disappeared pretty much instantly.

Please help??

Same thing happened to me. 4 btc come and go. Blockchain shows 50 minute later. But that could be confirmation delay.

WHAT IS GOING ON

Seems there is a problem on SR side with processing the deposits. I haven't received my btc yet after more than 24h. On blockchain the transfer appears as succesful and as always it has been transfered to a different address soon afterwards which is probably SR account. It should be up to them now to make the btc appear on the account.
It's the first time this takes that long for me and I'm quite angry as the btc-chart is decreasing and my btc might not be sufficient for my purchase now...

Hope SR will fix this soon!

same here nearly 24h now and deposited on a new address for the first time.

to me it seems, we have serious problem now,
because after 24h delay there is a problem for sure.

regards

Hi folks,

When seeing your Bitcoin being transferred to new addresses what you are seeing is the Silk Road tumbler in action, it's nothing to worry about at all. You can read more about that here:

Please see DPR's thread on the deposit issue here:

In order to fight off the recent DoS attack we had to do substantial reconfiguration to the entire Silk Road system.  We are still working out the kinks, and there are a couple of isses that have to be addressed.  One is deposits and withdrawals not showing up in a timely manner.  We found one problem the new config was causing to this system and fixed it today, so deposits/withdrawals should be flowing now.  If you still don't have yours, please message support on the main site.

The other issue is being logged out seemingly at random.  We are still looking for the cause of this problem, but I assure you it is a top priority and we will get it fixed soon.

Thank you for your patience as we recover from the recent attack.
