I've had it take as long as 6 hours, I believe. The Silk Road is basically laundering the money for you so no one will ever find out what you spent it on. So it's a really nifty service, but it's not instant.

mine once took about 12 hours, i think it depends on how silk road is doing, if they are doing maintenance it might be a bit slower. normally its about 6 for me though.

Please read this thread:  http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=156494.0

Basically, we're all experiencing widespread deposit delays, DPR has been made aware of the issue, and everyone needs to just try to stay calm while the issue is addressed and resolved.

I've seen a lot of threads stating the same issues as you and the OP are having.  I wouldn't worry mate.  Before all this buzz on the attacks and what not, I had a transfer take up to 12 hours, none the less it still came through. It will work itself out. Gotta be patient mate  :D

Best of luck to ya

read that thread the mod posted...wow

Been a member here since the ole days...(which really sucks that I can't post anymore in the other forums btw!) and delays do happen. But man...Right when I think the site is back, and dump some coins on the road to go on a spree...this happens. But hey, the point is....it happens. I have so much faith in DPR! That guy or gal has been our best interests at heart...What I don't have faith in though is the value on my coins unfortunately :'(

If it's not one thing... it's another with SR lately. Heck,,, my most reliable vendor has ignored my messages; nor shipped my order since Friday,

The situation is currently the same, horse7171. Please bear with us a little while longer.

I,ve been waiting 19 hours for my coin to go into wallet i,m not panicking after reading whats in the forum i,m sure it will be fixed but i agree with other people that a warning could have been put on when it was realised there was a problem at least people would have been aware they were going to have a wait and would have expected a wee msg on a forum from DPR i think it would have helped settle people but maybe too busy trying to fix the problem for us, its not like it hasn,t happened before as other members are stating and it was always sorted so confident all will be ok  :)

Like Libertas and Scout said, here and in countless other threads about the same issue.

I had multiple transactions yesterday go through in minutes, which is not common for me. Now i have 34+ confirmations on a small transfer and SR is still empty.

Shit happens, price we pay for such a utopia, wouldnt ya say?

Ive actually on two occasions waited over 36 hours for my coin, whilst blockchain showed it was all good.

Ouch. Yeah well I'm in a similar boat. Even my local overpriced dealer is out of stock.

Sad thing is whoever initiated the attack against SR succeeded with spreading FUD and hurting the Economics.

I'm over 24 hours now and opened a support ticket. Maybe DPR should think about selling t-shirts: "I survived the deposit crises of spring 2013"

In order to fight off the recent DoS attack we had to do substantial reconfiguration to the entire Silk Road system.  We are still working out the kinks, and there are a couple of isses that have to be addressed.  One is deposits and withdrawals not showing up in a timely manner.  We found one problem the new config was causing to this system and fixed it today, so deposits/withdrawals should be flowing now.  If you still don't have yours, please message support on the main site.

The other issue is being logged out seemingly at random.  We are still looking for the cause of this problem, but I assure you it is a top priority and we will get it fixed soon.

Thank you for your patience as we recover from the recent attack.
